Some people say that Final Fantasy XV looks disappointing.

But I say don't Noct it till you try it.

There are many reasons to be disappointed.

1. This isn't the Final Fantasy game we waited desperately for. It's completely different.

2. Nomura was replaced by Tabata, whom thought pushing a car in the beginning of the story was more exciting than Nomura's vision.

3. Nomura wanted the game to be a musical.

 

still debating whether this is the most or least disappointing thing about FFXV

As much as Tabata screwed up, at least he got it realised relatively quickly. If Nomura had continued working on it, who knows when we would have seen it? Nomura's vision definitely looked like the better game though, no denying that.

Nomura's vision was so inconsistent though. Each build was so different from the last that I don't even know what his vision was and what the compromises were.

Am I the only one that thinks making a movie holding crucial information for the game was ****ing stupid?

It's dumb as hell that you have to watch it in order to get a better idea of just what the hell is going on.

I just got to the point where the movie happens, and yeah the like 30 seconds of Kingsglaive they show doesn't work well. It would have been better to omit it and leave the player wondering how much of the news was true.
