I like to count how many rep gems they have, then reload the page, and recount them, just in case I'm the reason someone gets a new rep gem.

I never am.

Actually I think Xendran felt this way too.

I remember when I was a noob, I got a new rep gem and he pmed me saying
"I gave you a new rep gem"

I don't think he even wanted rep, he was just proud he did it and had to tell someone about it.

 

You set a bad example for the children. Talking about this kind of thing in public, have you no shame?

Me neither :( Whenever I see they have the same number of gems after I rep them, it makes me sad.

 

I've got some weird ass paranoia that makes me check to make sure I "approve of the message" each time I posirep, even though "approve" is automatically selected.
