Write about a boring life event where you learned something important, add some action e.g. zombies and a love interest plus some food scenes and your off.

Robin: "I think we've all learned a lesson about watching too much TV."
Starfire: "But it is because Beast Boy watched to much of the television that were able to defeat the Control Freak."
Raven: "So there isn't any big lesson to learn from this."
Cyborg: "That's right. It was all completely meaningless."

Or, you could just write any story you want, and shove a moral in there, even if it's disguised by symbolism.

Good idea. The Broken Aesop would be that we did end up helping, and therefore the internet can be trusted.

Ahh! Why'd you do this to my mind! It's a bigger paradox than the Dissapearance of Haruhi Suzumiya!
