do you think that if a teacher gives you homework that they are doing a good job? liek for example, a meaths teacher giving you a sheet to do for homework... i understand its to help us better understand it but if they were doing their job, would they really need to give out homework? yes or no?

    Yes.

They teach you, but homework helps you remember it fully. And to get practise.

Alot of homework I used to get at Sixth Form used to help with revision for exams. And at University, doing work at home is vital.

Yes, though people may say they understand what a teacher is saying in class, putting it into practice is different from watching someone else do it. Plus its helpful if your school is on a block schedule where you see your teachers every other day.
