Terra Theories *spoilers*

In light of the events of Dream Drop Distance, what do you think Terra's current situation is? Do you believe he is one of the "13 Darknesses", or do you think he was able to "show Xehanort the door" and return to normal after the destruction of Ansem SOD and Xemnas?

And what of Eraqus's Heart being inside Terra? Has it done any good, or has it just been useless?

 

Both Terra and Eraqus have become part Xehanort and are now part of the 13 Darknesses. They just submitted so easily.

 

No. People, if you paid ANY attention to what Mickey says, Terra is a guardian of light. Mickey clearly says, "There's Sora, Riku, Me, My 3 friends(Aqua, Ventus and Terra), but who's the other one?" Lea cannot be a guardian of light because he is not trained with the Keyblade yet and it would take too long to train him.
KH3 will be about 1. Rescuing Terra and and finding Aqua and waking Ven(with Riku's new abilities) and the second half will be defeating the 13 of dark.

 

I think they're probably going to have to kill him with Xahanort. You can't always save everyone, but if they are able to save him that would be cool. I just don't see it happening.

If that happens, then I can easily imagine Aqua finally snapping and becoming a Light-crazed Woobie, Destroyer Of Worlds who is hell-bent on erasing all Darkness, perhaps even becoming the True Final Boss of KH3 after Xehanort's defeat.

 

Actually, I think Aqua would be the one who would have to set him free. I'm not thinking of it as a death per se, more as a release. I'm sure Terra is miserable being trapped inside of Xehanort.

 

The shock could still drive her over the edge afterward, though.

 

If Aqua were so easily broken, she would not have been dubbed Keyblade Master. Also, she's been stuck in the Realm of Darkness for a dozen years, and she hasn't cracked yet, if anything, I think it's made her stronger.

 

That's because so far, the only thing keeping her going has been hope. Hope that someday, she'll be reunited with Terra and Ven, and then together they can go back home to the Land Of Departure.

Take away that hope, however, and then what's left for her?

 

Life is about finding and following new paths, essentially she'll just have to get the **** over it.

People die all the time, even your best friends. I'm just saying that I think it's unrealistic that she'd become the next villain. Sadness doesn't turn people into monsters, lack of control does, and if she lost control from something like that, she isn't fit to wield the keyblade.

Also, while in the realm of darkness, I'm sure she's had enough time to think about what she'll do if Terra and Ventus aren't there to greet her with open arms when she gets back. She's probably already faced the cold-hard truth of it.

 

But she's only human, and humans can only take so much. This was actually proven at the end of BBS, when she deliberately tried to get killed by a group of Darkside-Heartless.

And you're right, she isn't the type to let sadness turn her into a monster. It could, however, turn her into a "vigilante".

Another idea I have is that they save Terra and it destroys the making of the X-Blade because they lose one of their 13 darkness, a.k.a., young X, but ultimately I doubt it, because the X-blade being forged is pretty unavoidable.

 

I think his lingering spirit will be in kh.

 

What if Sora travels back in time and stops Terra from giving in, preventing Aqua from being trapped in the RoD and allowing Ventus to be saved?

 

Maybe, but wouldn't it be too easy? Also, changing history that much could severely alter their world.
