Rules

1. No godmodding or powerplaying.
2. Under the “Fighting Style” slot in the OC Form, stick to what you put underneath it or I’ll be giving you a warning. If your character relies on brute strength, I don’t want to see him/her making some sort of complex plan. Be as specific as you can on the Fighting Style slot.
3. Under the “Powers” slot in the OC Form make sure that the powers you pick can relate to each other. For example: The combination of pyrokinesis, shape shifting, and healing would not be allowed. Something along the lines of having the power over three elementals would be more fitting or something like, “control over air, flight, and ice” could be another example of what I’d allow.
4. Post your OCs in the OOC thread. D:
5. Please be active and don’t write a bunch of one-line posts.
6. It’s okay to lose a fight. You don’t have to win every battle. Also, remember not to auto-hit. What I mean is, whenever your fighting a character being controlled by another RPer, don’t assume that the attack will connect. Give people a chance to react.
7. I reserve the right to add or change the rules as I see fit. Also, I may powerplay/godmod for plot purposes. I won’t abuse this.

Bio: Rohet, also known as the Emperor, is the man responsible for the creation of The Gauntlet. He will oversee every match. As for other information regarding him, it has all been described within history.
Personality: Rohet is a strong and feared leader, often acting merciless when dealing with those who break his law. He thinks of himself as a god who can be slain by no one. He has all the power that he needs and is not seeking for anymore, merely for some entertainment that can be taken from the current generation.
Power: All that is known is that he is immortal.
Other: He’s the Emperor if you haven’t noticed by now.

Bio: She always blamed herself for her parents' deaths and her sister's trouble. If she was stronger none of it would happen. Thus she trained everyday to become stronger and help her sister in any way she could. Her guilt aside, life was enjoyable. Even being chased down was fun. All was well. But then Alice was taken away. After she sister was taken to partake in the Gaunlet she traveled for days straight to go to watch. She would like to break her out but she does not weild the power to do so on her own so she seeks help.
Personality: Typically doesn't say much, but when she does speak she is normally passionate with her words no matter the topic.
Power: Controls fire.
Other: Uses fans to help spread her flames. Hers have oil in the golden triming.

Bio: Once part of the Emperor’s personal guard due to his abilities and combat skill. As soon as the Emperor thought of creating The Gauntlet he was amongst the first to be placed in a holding cell as his powers would prove to be the perfect fit for such a competition. While he had very little friends, he once considered the Emperor to be at least an acquaintance of his with all their time spent together. Now Valin only wishes to have his revenge for being betrayed. While outside of combat he is calm and levelheaded, Valin quickly becomes hotheaded once he draws his weapon.
Weapons: A longsword, bow, and a lance.
Fighting Style: Favors to switch weapons constantly to confuse his opponent although he’s no complete master in the use of his three weapons. He normally sticks close to his opponent.
Powers: Has the ability to gather the ambient energy in the air and call it to his hands, thus allowing him to use it in place of regular arrows or to enhance the swings of his other two weapons although the process drains him somewhat. As a result of this ability, he can also draw in the energy within solid objects although instead of allowing him to directly use it, the object will be pulled towards him creating a weak form of telekinesis.

Bio: Morin had formed a small resistance group and had even made plans to assassinate the Emperor. His ideas were never carried out and his small organization was discovered leading to the slaughter of his friends. He, being the leader, was captured and set to take part of the upcoming matches within The Gauntlet. Morin is often quiet as he only speaks when he needs to. He was once a charismatic individual but is now a shadow of his former self as he has essentially given up all hope on actually killing the Emperor.
Weapon: Halberd
Fighting Style: Highly observant, Morin keeps a distance from his opponent to watch their moves until he finds a chance to move in and overpower them with his brute strength. Since his weapon has great reach, he will rarely get within arm’s length of an opponent.
Powers: Has the power over earth and wind as well as having enhanced physical strength.

Bio: Risiel had begun living on her own at the age of 16. Her parents had kicked her out of their house, assuming their daughter had done something with an older man, when it was just a misunderstanding and she was simply trying to avoid this person. She never had a good relationship with her parents, so Risiel didn’t care that she was kicked out. She was actually happy she now had a bit of freedom. After several years of living on her own, Risiel heard about The Gauntlet and took a bit of interest in it. She had heard rumors about it beforehand, but finally decided she’d take part in it several weeks later. Due to her strong and serious attitude, she felt like she would have the mentally to take part in it. Risiel shows herself as a serious young woman, who is quiet and keeps to herself. If she’s able to open up to someone, she can be a bit playful and sarcastic.
Weapon(s) : Twin pistols and a sword.
Fighting Style: Her style of fighting can range, depending on what weapon she is using. If she uses her two guns, she prefers fighting at a distance. If she’s using her sword, she goes defensive and at times purely brute strength.
Powers: Pyrokinesis and control over earth.

Bio: Their clan would pass on their powers from generation to generation and train the kids from the moment they can stand. They killed off the weak so only the strong remained as emotions meant nothing to them. Or least, they shouldn't. Alice was attached to her little sister as she was Alice's only friend and only one to confide in. So when their parents deemed her as weak Alice defended her and in the process killed their parents. They've been fleeing from their clan ever since, gaining a reputation while doing so by causing choas in their travels.
Weapon(s): The sword in the picture. It has the spine of her mother running down the dull side of the sword and she holds it in a reversed style, only holding it as one normallly would when things get serious.
Fighting Style: Can control emotions better than humans to the point where it seems like her kind has none. This makes them mericless killers and able to think clearly as one cannot anger them to the point of being reckless. Personally Alice goes for the kill as soon as possible, but if it fails she will go on the defensive and will wait to see everything the opponent can do. Because of her inhuman staminia she has been known to watch her prey from afar, blocking off all escape routes, and having them wear themselves out to the point where they are unable to fight back.
Powers: Creates/Controls fire, and inhuman strength

Bio: Kyatia was always seeking the ultimate challenge. The Gauntlet seemed to be exactly what she was looking for. Being determined, a bit playful and soft spoken she enjoys fighting so she can show off a different side of her personality, a side of violence and easily provoked anger. To take the burden from her father, she started chopping wood for him when he fell ill and lead her to favor heavy weapons, though she cast aside her wood cutting axe and joined the fights in the Gauntlet, she always searches the crowds for her father.
Weapon(s) : Twin swords like in her picture
Fighting Style: Kyatia takes a moment to figure out her opponent and usually relies on her brute strength to overwelm her opponent with several fast attacks from such heavy swords.
Powers: Control's earth and uses "spirit energy" as a power booster and almost like the jedi's force.

Bio: Haji, is in short, a monster in battle. He was responsible for the failed rebellion that killed 10,000 men. He was the only one left standing. After the battle he disappeared off of the Earth for years, becoming a ghost until suddenly appearing in the Gauntlet, dominating every challenge he was given. He has not lost a match yet and he doesn't intend to either. In battle, he loses all sense of emotion and empathy and trades it for cunning brutality. However, when he isn't fighting, he is extremely kind in all sense of the word.
Weapons: 100 Katanas
Fighting Style: At the start of the match he throws the katanas high into the air the bindings around them and they rain onto the battle field. If they do not succeed in killing the enemy then he will use all of them in some way or another to kill his enemy.
Powers: Super speed and limited intangibility.
Other: He is known as Samurai 100 or The Phantom Samurai.

Sorry Fayt but altogether that's too many powers/abilities your character has, even if it comes from one device. It's interesting but I'm not allowing it in this RP. <<

As for when the RP will start...I was planning on doing it yesterday but I've been ill and when it comes to things of my own creations, it makes it really hard for me to continue. I'll try and see if I can come up with a good starting post sometime today. Sorry for the delays people. ><

 

Too many powers to choose from. If there was three powers available to your character in total, then it'd be acceptable.
