How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?

 

I tried to count once... then I gave up.

But it is more than three!!

 

Actually I did this in 5th grade (some halloween experiment in class)

I got 565 licks. This is how many it takes to get into the center of a tootsie roll pop. Now the world shall know.
