The wrapping around the present I got from my dad was a car door

which I then had to unscrew to get my present. I love my dad.

Oh, I see. Does he do stuff like that often? I would just assume he got me a car door. Disassembling it to find something inside wouldn't even be on my radar.

 

It's usually something of this nature. One year I got my present inside a nailed box and then wrapped in barbed wire. lol

 

I would put a first aid kit in there. By the time you get it it is the best Christmas gift ever. But seriously, I think I might start doing something like that next year, that just sounds awesome.

 

It really is awesome, I'd do it myself I wasn't so damn lazy.

Though, the more layers the better. A good one is taking a fairly big soda bottle, cut it in half, put the gift inside and then use a lighter or something to melt it back together. Oh how much fun you can have with wrapping gifts.

My sister (being the poor university student she is) opened a present from my grandma to find a box of cereal bars, her face lightened up as she thought she had received some food, only to find out there was no cereal bars. Instead she got concert tickets inside the cereal bars box.
