When someone says youtube, what's your opion and action on this site? Is it:
"the best! I make AMV's! wanna see?"

"Bad! Not ment for little children."

    "It's ok. Nothing really special."

"What's so great about youtube? Tch it's just a place for idoits."

"Youtube is awesome. I go on there all the time!"

"I planned to be come famous on there. If it wasn't filled with fakes."

Ok so...(i really got those answers when my class actually discussed this).

So heres the story short: Is youtube bad? Can you really become famous? Is it really useless? Do you think youtube is stupid? What do you think of all the videos on there? Is youtube another site for people to do naughty things? Are the videos bad?...etc

What i wanna know is what you think of the youtube. Is youtube good?
What do you think about it? Was it really used for in your opion?
    Do you hate it?
Do you constantly obbess over it?

Well? Quit staring at the screen! and start typing your opion.

No spam, no rudeness,no smart talk.
cause no wants to hear it.
but if you hate it, then critic as you plezz!
    XD

It's a place where people all over the world can share their everyday, more-often-than-not useless crap with the rest of the world in video form. it's good for many things, but terrible for others. In no way does being a make-up fanatic qualify you as a guru.

Yes, you can become famous. At least as long as you continue to make fresh videos that your fans like. There are a lot of people who make their living off of making YouTube videos. I seriously doubt that this fame will last in a lot of cases. In the instances of Fred and WasteTimeChasingCars and Ray William whatshisface for example, their videos seem dated, and they're really just the same thing over and over. In other cases, I've noticed a few web series that have been picked up by tv stations. So go figure.

In my mind, there's a difference between famous and Youtube famous. When you're Youtube famous, you'll get the devoted fans, but you can easily walk down the street and very few if any people will recognize you (so long as you're not Tay Zonday or Chris Crocker or something).

Youtube isn't really too awesome. It really was the first big video sharing site, but now there's so much censoring things because of copyright and ads galore that it isn't too much fun anymore. It's good for music and the occasional video, but oftentimes it's just something that one person and maybe their friends will find funny, but no one else really cares.

I don't really have that much of an opinion on it, I mainly use it for the purpose of music, and sometimes films/anime.

Like Misty said though, the whole copyright mess is really starting to become tiring, plus their constant (useless) updates are irrititating, their most recent one causes a lot of vids to lag majorly badly :l

    It started going downhill the moment Google got its hands on it ;-;

    Ah well.

As for the youtube famous thing, youtube famous =/= famous

^This. It is just another video hosting site out there. Sure it was big when it first came but there's nothing special about it anymore.

It increases globalisation, for good or bad purposes. I just hope it's used for the right things instead of the continually bad things I see.
And i'm not familiar with much of the celebs on youtube, I mainly go there for anime, AMVs and music.

I enjoy YouTube because I don't really pay attention to "crap" as people want to call it, I enjoy watching things that I like , such as anime, video editing and things like that.

You can become famous, like the most subscribed user on YouTube (Nigahiga) is easily recognized... in my opinion anyways...

Spoonychan is a definate YouTube celebrity for all the dubs she's done on the Kingdom Hearts comics.

    Face it.
On YouTube (and KHV), there will always be n00bz that think that the most rubbish thing ever is epic. I was a n00b once. So was everyone on this site and YouTube. Crap is there because if it wasn't, no one could stand out.

Often the "internet celebrity" status is based on opinion. I've never heard of whoever you just mentioned there, and I don't recall anyone mentioning her before. And as for a lot of the channels I'm subscribed to, many of you probably haven't heard of them either. :/

I tend to watch cosplay skits, animes, and sometimes a music video or two on Youtube. It's a good site if you want laughs(if you know where to look)*. A lot of cosplayers get famous through their cosplay skits being seen on Youtube(ever hear of Demyx Time? I recommend you check it out.) The two people that do that show and their cosplay group are pretty famous in the cosplay sector because of that show. But Youtube stardom is short, you are soon forgotten and replaced with the next big thing.
*I guess this goes for KHV too.

My moronic school thinks Youtube is a porn site.

Despite the site rules saying material like that is banned.

Though overriding the filter is quite simple.

YT was better about 4 years ago, before Viacom, WMG, etc. decided to be all bratty and butthurt and claim copyright on anything having to do with them.

As long as you steer clear of Redtube is easily mixed with Youtube when people think their being funny and that's what your school should be looking out for.

I find that a utube is very helful when you need to make a gun backfire on someone (anyone know what I'm talking about?)

Youtube to me seems like society in nut shell. There are glimpses of it within every video - the humour of our society, the passion, the anger the emotion. If there is a thing that exists in our society a video which is applicable to it is on youtube. It is a great thing and a bad thing at the same time because of this. It will be a great thing for historians or sociologists focusing on current events because of the picture it gives of society. Yeah. Thats pretty much it.

Youtube's just a website. Some people happen to post their videos because it's a hobby and others do it to become famous.

The thing is that there aren't too many people that become famous from youtube. It's a one and a million chance unless record companies go searching for people on youtube. Not to mention that there's a large possibility of having to sift for hours through hundreds of cruddy singers.

Personally I love you tube. Not that I want to become famous anything, but it's just for pure entertainment and a form of free expression based on creativity and spare time. I post my videos there that take me some time like weeks or even months to do. Yes I admit some vids out there are like 0_0 or
-_- but that's why we are all different. There are going to be lovers and haters out there and most of the time the vids only get viewed and never commented or rated.

For example this one I created and it's purely how should I say unique and um yeah let's just say I have a vivid imagination.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Za6f5s9qYU

However this one, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HO-YyVrTAgA took me three months to complete with all the work that I put into it.

So you see anyone can post anything with the wild imagination and artistic ability they have no matter what content is used.

I love youtube, if for nothing else than Vloging which I am addicted to and Let's Plays which I think are awesome. Plus, a lot of memes start there so I need to keep up so that I am relevant on the internet.
