This is my ultimate Batman game guys

A Batman game. The catch is that it's completely free roaming. You can explore all the areas of Gotham city and even some outside areas. Take down gangs who control the streets. Have a moral system similar to inFAMOUS where if you hurt civilians and **** there will be more enemies on the streets and police will go after you while if you play as a good Batman police won't bother going after you(somtimes) and there will still be a lot of enemies but not as many. No controlling territory. The only way to completely control an area is to get rid of the boss who owns that section of the city and even then there will still be remnants of the gang who will still **** stuff up.

You can do stuff in the bat cave like upgrade your weapons, test out new gadgets in a special room, and have chats with Alfred. Batman will look how he did the the original animated series from the early '90s. You can wear different suits to suit your needs. Only one suit won't be wearable whenever you want and that will be the one you fight Bane with since it's too big to walk through the alleys of Gotham. Batman can climb up the buildings Assassins Creed/inFAMOUS style and can use his gadgets to traverse. Batmobile, Batcyle, Batplane, and Batboat will also be available.

Bosses will include Joker, Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Bane, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, Scarface/The Ventriloquist, Black Mask, Harley Quinn, Scarecrow, Two Face, Ra's Al Ghul, & Catwoman. There will also be mini-bosses who will include smaller villains from the series.


Update: Once you complete the game you will unlock 'Nostalgia Mode' which will unlock the original Batman costume to play as. It will also make the world more colorful and each time you punch/kick an enemy an action bubble will appear saying random things like POW and BLAM. I'll admit it, this is purely for the nostalgia-**** like myself. Everything in the world will also change to match how the original comic/tv show looked. None of the mechanics will be changed, just the models for everything.

So essentially your making the game harder for yourself if you choose anit hero?
You could always just have a difficulty system.
Also since when does Batman hurt civilians.
I prefer the Arkham Asylum concept, it's about what Batman does best, striking fear into his victims.

 

Batman doesn't give a ****. Plus you want no penalty for running people over on the road while driving? If you play how you're supposed to play the police won't ever figure out where you are. If you wreak shit all over the city the police will know where you are and come get you. That's what I meant by a morality system. It's less of a good/evil and more of a Dark Knight(playing as Batman) and just some other thing.

The concept is good. But the game could fail if it doesn't have a progressive story.

Your thinking of something like Grand Theft Auto, but batman. My biggest qualm about GTA, is its story is unsubstancial. And the only way to win is to hack... which most players I know do.

I got through the first couple chapters of GTA 2 without hacking... then the games went 3d, and got major trendy.

 

i thought the concept of gta was to steal cars and kill people and piss off the cops.

 

Exactly... the freeroaming batman could be like that too if done wrong.

 

but that would be awesome seeing the batman do that though.

i wouldn't buy it though,i don't and haven't played gta.
