"Twilight is coming out at midnight! ZOMG!! LYK TOTALLY GONNA SEE IT!"

Is it just my school? Is it because I live in Seattle? Is it because they shot some of the movie here?
Why is it that I can't get away from people getting all fangirl-ish about Twlight?
Why is it that everywhere I turn I see girls in "I <3 Edward Cullen" and "Team Jacob" shirts? Not even just because the movie is going to come out but...everyday?
Why is it that I get so annoyed by it, even if I've read the book and I'm going to go see the movie tomorrow?
Why are people dressing up like vampires now? Are they serious? Why are half of my friends claiming to be vampires now? Since when were plastic fangs cool?
Why is it so hyped up now? Didn't Twlight come out like...Five years ago? When is everyone so "OH EM GEE" about it now? What's the big deal?
Why is it possible for the fans to almost ruin it for me? For me to start to hate Twilight's existence?

At Hot Topic they have these fangs that you can actually GLUE onto your teeth... and I am guilty of owning some.

But I've been a vampire obsessive since I was like, 4 years old. Twilight just makes me look like a total poser >>

It came out four years ago, with a book released each year. I guess that partly explains the quality. But, it doesn't make sense for people to just all of a sudden start reading the series and get all hyped over it. I think it's just hype and really has nothing to do with the book actually being of superior quality.

Im actually reading this book right now.. its called Staked... it follows all the normal Vampire rules but its a great book, 8090 times better than Twilight... besides the only thing i like on Stephanie's site is the play lists

 

I've thought vampires were cool for a while but now...And I had this urge to write a vampire story the other day but now it seems like I'm just influenced by Twilight v_v;
I remember getting plastic fangs from Chuck E. Cheese's o_o; ​

Well.....nothing of that sort here....>_>.....of course the girls are hyped about it, but not to that extent....and it does seem like a pretty good book, but honestly...I'm not much of a vampire fan(sorry! Sorry! Don't hurt me! Please! *runs away*) or a werewolf fan and whenever someone asks me whether I'm pro vampire or pro werewolf I say vampire just because I figure they're probably faster than werewolves. But truth be told, I'd rather stay as far of a distance possible from either.
