Since I'm using GIMP 2 now (because my Photoshop CS2 & CS3 are screwy with render/brush size), I want to get some Grunge Brushes in t he program. I did what this tutorial said on YouTube, but that was for Photoshop CS2. Does anyone know how to upload brushes into GIMP?

Its probably the same way,I dont have Gimp but i think you still go to the brushes folder in gimp and than move the brush files in there.I could be wrong though.

I've done that. I went into GIMP after I did that, and pulled up my brushes, and they weren't in there, just the Defaults.

Well what i noticed is that, when you install new brushes while the program is still opened, they wont appear on the list.you either have to load them or close the program and re-open it and than the brushes will appear on the list.

Hmmm, I'll try that. I think I've done that before, but it didn't work.

    EDIT:
I just tried what you said, and it still didn't work.

    Okay
    Go to My computer>Local disk C>Program files>GIMP>Share>2.0>Brushes.
Then just drag and drop those brushes you downloaded in the folder you just got opened.
If you have The GIMP open, then you need to close it and start the program back up.
If you still have trouble, pm me.
(And I havn't used GIMP in like 2 months, so this is all from memory lolz)
