I just spent the past 20 minutes curled up in pain at the bottom of the stairs. Thank god I hit each step with my bad knee, in addition to my medication making my reaction time similar to a Slowbro so I could only process that I was hitting the stairs before the pain kicked in. What a wonderful day.
Call the Paramedics, the Fire Department, the PRESIDENT! YOU HAVE BEEN INJURED! NOO! Hope you feel better!
Not sure yet. I thought I had mentioned it before, but since maybe a month ago my left knee has been hurting like hell; Wednesday I went to the doctor and it turns out I have tendonitis and chonodromalacia, which will require four weeks of physical therapy, two or three times per week. That and I'm on a super strong pain medication, so I'm kind of hurrdurr now. >> My knee gave out. 8D Thanks. xDD Yeah I've decided that if one more "medical professional" pokes/squeezes/jabs at my kneecap and asks if it hurts I'm going to punch them and ask if that hurt. :|
Ouch, that can't be good. I remember when I stretched the tendons in my leg, I had to have it in a brace for a month and I could barely walk. Skiing accident, don't ask.
When I tripped during school recess last year I lacerated a tendon in my ankle and had to spend the next 3 hours hopping around on one leg with the help of a good friend( The nurse just gave me an ice pack -_-) I hope you feel better! I know this sounds redundant, but take it easy, okay?
Oh boohoo. I've been shot, stabbed, and hit in the head with pipes in a gang fight. Granted, that's just a story I tell to hide the fact that all my scars are from bicycle accidents >> But OUCH ; ;
I know right. >:| Yeah, I've actually got two braces, a patella strap and a knee brace over it. I may be getting either crutches or a wheelchair this weekend though. >> Ah jeez. D: But the ice does actually help, usually not only is it injured but it's also inflammed, and the ice helps with that part. I didn't think ice would help with my injury either, but it does to a point. xD Thank you, and I'm trying to. :] That's alright, I never leared how to ride a bike. :lolface: Though with the way I get injured anyway...probably a good idea that I don't. xD
What, like permanently get a wheelchair or just temporary. How did you hurt yourself in the first place? Was it just spontanious?
Temporary, at least until everything heals. And I think it might be from an injury as a kid, but it came back last August, went away, then came back this past month.
Damn, that's gotta suck. I hope you heal sooner than those four weeks. You never know when a positive surprise regarding your healing capacity occurs. Try not to force yourself, okay? Then again forcing stuff worked for me so the choice is all yours.
What God? You're an Atheist, remember? /tryingtostartwhathappenedbetweenacoupleofmyfriendsafewweeksago.Imadeathreadaboutitremember?
