I have to sing on-stage today, even though I'm still not over the cold I got a few days ago. Wish me luck!
lol, I actually don't know the line-up yet, I'll just have to wing it when I get there. Yeah. I've been sort of singing along to different songs just to get a little practice in, and it's not too far off. The cold is mostly in my head anyway, so my throat's not badly affected. As long as there aren't any hard songs, I should be alright. Also, thanx for all the Good Luck wishes everybody! I don't feel quite so nervous now.
No, I'm on the worship team at my church, so I sing on-stage every Sunday. The thing is there's only three people on the worship team, and one of the other members had somewhere to be so I couldn't bail on the worship leader. Anyway, thanx for the support, it all went fine! I had a little trouble near the end, but I pulled through.
Oh, then you do not need to worry. Most church goers will defend your singing even if it is terrible.
That is why contemporary music is consistently low in quality. They do not accept that they are bad at playing.
