    If there's a rule in the rules section, it simply means that some people were probably going against the rules and so it had to be brought up. People are allowed to advertise in their sigs but not elsewhere since the staff will delete any other advertisements. We do occasionally get some spam bots so this makes it easier to discern them and also keeps advertising under control.

    It's a general rule, so it's not just pointing at you.
