What Animal is goofy?

I have always wondered what kind of animal Goofy is.
He seems to be a Dog/Goat thingy. If not, then I assume he's some sort of retarted man with mutated ears, and a long long nose, with unhumanly buck teeth.

 

I think he's a dog.

 

Dog, they have some others two characters that are a goat and a cow.

seems to be a hunting dog i think. he has the big floppy ears and whines a lot. garwsh!

I believe Goofy is a dog, all though, he does come off as a combination animal.

i think goofy's a dog but so is pluto so why doesn't pluto walk and talk??

 

I always thought the same thing. But if Pluto walked and talked, then there wouldn't be a need for pluto, now would there....

 

I way I see it is the diffrence between Goofy and Pluto is the same as the diffrence between a human and an ape. both may be dogs/primeapes but one can walk, talk, and create while the other can't.

 

Goofy is a dog. A very odd looking dog xD

 

He never wuffs, he never follows instructions like sit, or roll over. Yes, he is a very odd looking dog. XD
