What Are Your Goals On This Forum?

I remembered this from the old forum, and I thought it might be fun to have it again with all the new people here.

So read the title.

For me:

• Become a better staff member
• Befriend all of you

And this one is probably the biggest one for me:

• Be the user all the new people look up to. This may seem a bit confusing, but it's hard to explain without giving a really long story. So, here's my story:

When I first came here, I had no idea what a forum was, and why they were so popular. I wasn't good with computers, and all I really did was look at Kingdom Hearts pictures, watch AMV's, wishing I could make them (Remember --- This was almost a year ago), and listen to music. So here I was, new to computers, with no real talents. So I registered, and looked around a bit, not really posting. I saw all these members, with all these nice sigs, and all that. One member really stood out to me. I'll keep the member's name out to save them from some embarassment, but I'll say that they're still around. He had this nice sig, and I will always remember this one comment that the member made.* I strive to be like that for all of the new members.

*Sorry if I rambled a bit.

 

My goals are to become a staff member...stop spamming...gain respect...and not be a n00b in general..

 

to help people to make friends (and ok maybe a few enemies) and to become a better person (it has already helped me actualy)

when i first came i had no clue what a fourm whas how to use one or anything sense then i have grown alot both as a forum member and a person irl i came to this site wanting to make an amv like i saw on youtube but it turned into soo much more than that i had an idea so i joined the forum asked questions gave answers and a new part of my life was born members began to stick out to me one by one and i began to make friends then when i left i realised that i had a rep here and i was noticed and well that was what i had wanted all along

Mine are to learn about and be friends with all the people here, to be a better friend/person, and to become a Mod. XD (What? A girl can dream can't she?)

My story is sort of like Misty's and Kiara's. I sort of started out as just one of the guests who quietly spied on all of you on the old forum. I had just gotten the internet, so I just spent my time watching AMVs wishing I could make them and enjoying the music. That's how I found out about here and so I just sort of read all the different things y'all talked about. I also started to look up to one member who always acted cool and friendly. They also seemed really nice to all the new members. I thought about joining then but I was too scared. I couldn't really do much of anything all I did was look at pictures, listened to music, and read the posts. When I heard that the site was moving I waited and then after it opened all sparkly and new I told myself 'Come on!! If you don't do this how will you ever get to know these people, and be their friend.'
So I joined and I knew a little but not much. So I PMed Misty and she welcomed me to the MacLeods and told me how to do a sig.(I didn't know there was an adoption center at the time. T_T)
After awhile I felt so comfortable and when I got scared when Kiara left and I put up a poll I didn't think people would respond but they did and most importantly they wanted me to stay. It made me feel wanted, as if I mattered, as if I was special in some way. I finally felt accepted and I guess that's all I wanted too. To be accepted not for how I looked or dressed, but for my personality and the words I say/type.

(Yeah I'm a drama queen and I think I'm gonna confuse pple too.)

 

Aw... See, Rouge is exactly what I was talking about. I want to be like that for all the new members. That's why I started the Macleods, and have kept them going. It gave me tons of friends, and it's given so many other people the same thing.

 

Mine is the become a staff member, (this one is a bit more general) and to get my AMV's noticed.

I first joined quite a while ago, i heard about this site a bit after it's launch, and used it alot, it was the cause of me to spoil the game for me too much XD. I posted every now and then, but i couldn't get into the community, i spent most the time in the creativity corner, reviewing the odd AMV, but my own AMV's were unnoticed, and were never commented, which was rather annoying when you get the not so good ones being commented lots. But when the site changed to the way it is now, I thought why not and I got more invoived, posted more, and over time i got more involved in the community, and my AMV's have got more notice, with Hearts of Wonder being the most views video that the KH-vids Portal.

 

mine is to make new friends with fellow kh fans and maybe someday become a Mod but I know I have a long way to go for that ha ha

 

My goal? Simple.

Well...it's probably far too complicated for anyone to understand... xD


But..my goal right now...go to Cali over the summer!! =DDD

 

My mission on this fourm is simple:

My goals on this forum are:
1. To make new friends of all ages & backgrounds.
2. Learn computer skills from people who are obviously much better than me.

I came to KH-Vids after lurking around as a guest trying to gain the courage to join. This is my first forum ever, and I've come to it a bit later than most. The thing that has struck me the most about this forum is how friendly and helpful everyone is, and how much fun! My ambition is to be counted among the friendly users, and hopefully help people who are nervous like I was join in such a great community.

 

Wow, this is your first fourm? You only have had 245 posts, this is your first fourm too, and you're excelling at literacy. You're advancing faster then me, pretty soon, I'll bet you'll have the qualities of a mod!

 

Thank you! Unfortunately my graphics skills leave a lot to be desired, so I've come to learn from the best! You are a great example of why this is an excellent forum to join, Zexion of the Twilight, as you are so nice and complimentary to me.

Yep... I think that's about it...

 

My goal is so simple it can't be put into text, actually it can..

To become a forum member, whoops already accomplished that.

Oh yeah and basically I want to excel in GFX. I'm making good progress, but I want to become waaay better. Looking back at my first signature leaves a bad feeling in my stomache.
