What do the aliens really look like?

They often have oval shaped heads in the movies.
but when it comes some tv shows, games, etc.
they sometimes look different from the ones in the movies.
The have tentacles, one eyes, eight legs, etc.

What do they really look like in your opinion?...

 

someone once told me aliens are 6 fingered people? (well the local ones anyway) 0_o

Aliens (I'm talking about life not from Earth, as I see UFO's and all that jazz to be ridiculous, as faster-than-light travel is physically impossible). look different than us. Whether intelligent or not, there will be very slight similarities to earth life, but because of different environments, they will look very different.

As I believe that there are many lifeforms in this universe, coupled with my knowledge of evolution leading to high diversity, I cannot answer that. It's like asking an alien "What does Earth life look like?"

 

...I'd like to ask if this is actually...intellilgent. No one has solid and clear proof of aliens, and today it's even harder to believe because of programs like Photoshop that can alter images to look convincing.

This is also why all aliens in movies look different: no one really knows what they look like.

 

I was going to post something about this but now that you say it i'll just agree.Life automatically adapts to it's envirnoment.That is why humans look like we are.If there was a world just like ours but had greater gravity the people there might look like us but they would be stronger due to the increased gravity.

 

I have to agree with what others put that we are an adaptive race but how do we not know if these aliens are just like us on a planet like ours?

There are many theories about this question. Almost all, sais that the aliens are called "Grey" and they are very cruels and bad. They are small and grey, with a big head and big black eyes.
Other theories sais that the aliens are like human, the same body, intelligence etc...

 

Faster than light travel may be not possible by our standards of technology and what we know, however who is to say that other forms of life aren't more advanced that we are and found a way? xD

As for how aliens look? Hmm well I don't think that they would only like one thing, afterall, look at the diversity of life and it's forms on this planet alone.

Maybe one day we will see and interact with life from other worlds, until that day we can only speculate. Though I highly doubt the little green men with massive heads and 3 fingers is a reality XD​

 

Right. Noone can reach the light speed yet. And we don't know if the aliens know more things than us.
Also, the alien's aspect depends VERY MUCH from the environment in which they are found.
If we was for example found there under the water, we would have the gills and of certain we would not have our aspect. Understand?:D

Also, if a lifeform is smart enough to break the universal speed limit, why can't they cloak their ships very well? Or, better yet, why are they even messing around with us primitive beasts anyway? If they're that smart, they should easily be able to study from afar.

 

Since no one can ascertain if aliens even exist and it's all hypothetical etc, we can't possibly know what aliens look like...so this isn't really qualified to be here so to let the issue continue I'm going to move it to Spam Zone.

Besides, just because they might be more advanced, that doesn't mean they would want to hide, maybe they would want to study us more closely XD

For all we know they do cloak their ships etc etc, if they are cloaked then we wouldn't be able to see them right? XD Well, we don't see them, that is the point. Maybe they already are studying us

Well...the thing about them studying us is that we have those big satellites that are trying to detect radio waves from space. So far, we've got nothing. And if the aliens were studying us, I'd assume that they'd be giving off some form of energy by doing so.
