Wow...

Just right now, my friend did the stupidest thing.

What happened was I was searching for images of your regular european grandmas for my exam project (we work on computers). I saw this one image that I liked, saved it, and opened it in Photoshop. I left the window open and went to my friend's post (which is right behind mine) to ask her for some pencil led. She gave it to me and must've noticed my screen thus seeing the image of the old woman. And then she asks: "Is that your grandma?"

Note: I have dark skin. >_>;;;;;;;

 

Well it was just a simple question. I understand why she would of asked that, unless she knew you were making a project about the elderly.

 

The grandma in the picture was white.

I am black.

At first I stared at her, in hopes she'd rethink her stupid question. But she just blinked innocently and stared back, waiting for my answer. Eventually I just laughed and pointed at my skin while saying, "She's my grandma alright."
