Naruto: The Great Shinobi War

The Plot:

Before the creation of The Konoha, before the Five Great Nations, the Shinobi of the world were mearly organized in clans. Oftentimes the clans would war against eachother. Each taking missions from the many independant nations and villages, which left the world in a state of constant war.

The two strongest clans of that time were the Senju clan,and the Uchiha clan. It is said that these are the only clans which can stand against the other.



The Senju Clan:
The Senju Clan is amazingly strong. They are led by Hashirama Senju. And possess a great affinity to Ninjutsu, also posses strong physical prowess.

Thier main goal is to unify the Shinobi world though means of love and peace.

Though thier military prowess is not to be underestimated.

Raised with all the pride and arrogance of the Hyuuga clan, Sakanotori fully believes in its purity of blood. However unlike others in his clan, it is not enough for him to simply defeat or even kill his enemy. Sakanotori is only satisfied when he has reduced the enemy to a snivelling heap, begging for death. His favourite method to achieve his is torture, either of the enemy or anyone the enemy is close to. He considers the torture the main event, with the fight before only a bother. For this reason, he prefers picking on those far weaker than himself and slowly torturing them to death. He has been known to keep defeated opponents in his cellar to come back to later.

His weapons of choice are a pair of large carving knives with edges laden with acid in order to maximise the pain. He can use the opposite side as a makeshift mallet in order to hammer nails into a foe. His favourite position to nail an enemy in is that of a cross. He has a small pocket knife which he uses for the more delicate pieces of work, such as removing eyeballs or flaying skin off a defeated foe.

When fighting he prefers to incapacitate his opponent with pain and then get to work on their writhing body. He does this by targeting sensitive areas of the body using the byakugan and his large knives. Poison is okay, provided it doesn't kill too quickly, so he often uses poisoned kunai. He is unable to master the 64 palm attack, so instead has improvised his own version where he sacrifices the pinpoint precision accuracy for flailing his butcher knives around in the general area. While it looks far more scary than the original technique, it's actually far easier to evade and has little of the chakra blocking potential.

Shige is a 17 year old Chunin exiled from the Aburame clan after a failed mission against the Kamizuru clan. He is very stoic and doesn't speak much. The only two people he feels he can be open with are the Senju brothers because they took him in after being labeled an outcast.

As with the rest of his clan, Shige uses the parasitic insects embedded within him as a baby. He is also quite skilled at tracking and trapping.

Profile, personality.
Born in an small village that always seemed the wind was blowing and filled with sand. His family often cut down trees to sell but they hardly got any money. It was always like that the newly established capital of the new settled land was poor but the little village Penoa grew up in was dirt poor. While all of the other new lands had plunty of money while the land he served got nothing so Penoa could see why his fellow desert habitents had an grudge against the other lands.He attended an ninja academy there he passed with no problem but his family was really poor. Penoa was sick of living in poverty so he simply left the village taking an good amount of logs with him. On his travels he been in a little group of ninja rouges that worked for people it did not matter if it was for an evil cause it was work. As the missions got done he got reputation even if most of it made Penoa sound like an heartless person. He had an dream to make an new technic style one that would be usefull to him. As the years went by the technic slowly developed surprissing Penoa became known as The Puppet Ninja. The village people did not know why Penoa carried an puppet with him cause they never seen an ninja use an tool like that. After an 3 years of doing the final touches on the technic but still not perfect he just continued doing his normal set of jutsu hardly using the puppet. Although the puppeter already named the developing techic the puppet master technic. Unfortionatly a few months ago an disease effected him making his muscles weak so he had to depend on the puppet.Recently he got assigned an body guard assignment by the senju clan. Also it is said that Penoa made an adjustment to his body but he keeps that as an secret until he is in great danger in battle.
Penoa is known to be lazier then most ninjas and really easy going while being succesful on missions. His patience is very long so he would just rest against an tree and watch his opponet die. But sometimes he saves an enemy although that is an very rare occasion. The reason is Penoa believes everyone should experiance thier unique ability before they die so they can move on to the after life peacefully.Also an little problem he has is the puppeter always moves his fingers. Also Penoa knows an good amount about poisons and weapon design.

puppet- the puppet is named Despair the puppet looks like an regular humen just made out of wood. The hair is long and black covering the puppets eyes wearing an black cloak with an big straw hat that covers most of its head. The puppet is equiped with two silver hook swords it holds and the hands are mostly of the time unseen because the cloak sleeves are longer then the puppet's arms. Also the ammunition is sharp needles it shoots out from its mouth and it blows out poison fog.

The Uchiha Clan:
The Uchiha clan is also amazingly strong. They possess a large amount of Chakra, as well as a ability, the Sharingan.

Thier main goal is to unify the Shinobi world through shear might.

Thier personality seems to be prone towards grudges and anger. They also have a tendancy to be arrogant.

Honoka has a bit of obsession over the colour red and has gone to the point of dying her hair bright red (like on the Uchiha crest.). Because of that she is very distinguishable from a crowd.

This story doesn't take place during the rest of the Naruto timeline. So it will be heavily OC based. I have taken up the role of Madara and my cousin will play Hashirama so we can keep the story moving. We have the right to deny OC's.

The Rules:
The basic forum rules apply. Please keep it PG-13.

Also, each character has his or her own limits. This can be challenging because in Naruto there are many god tier characters and abilities. However, if you do try to powerplay, you will be over ruled. If you try to challenge someone beyond your characters abilities, your character will can be killed, or captured. If you don't flee, and the other character does a killing move, I will let them kill you even if you don't want it.

I see nothing wrong with making as many characters as you wish. Also, not all your characters need to go on every mission. But if your character is on a mission, please keep them active.

No god-modding. The circumstances to kill another which I described above are special. Even then, the opponent shouldn't be killed without giving them a chance to escape.

The flow:
There will be missions handed out every so often, and once the mission ends another will begin.

Each mission will have opposing sides facing each other, both Uchiha and Senju.

HELP! My cattle caravan was attacked by a child. He was only 10, but he killed two of my men! We should have known he was no ordinary child, it wasn't until after we killed him that we noticed a fan crest on his back. HE WAS AN UCHIHA! We tried to hide his identity as much as we could, however, I still fear they may know what happened. My gaurds have all quite fearing retaliation! Because of this, my palace is left virtually ungaurded. I want Senju gaurds until I am confident that they have given up the vendetta. Please protect me. I am willing to pay a large fortune for your best services.

My nephew has ran away last week, yesterday, his body turned up left in a field. He seemed malnurished, and his eyes were removed. His clan crest was cut out from his shirt. We inquired in the nearest town, a terrified gaurd admited he knew what happened. A local damyo was responsible for the killing, and gave us the location of his palace. He claims he quit after he saw the cruelty of his boss. We didn't spare him. Your mission is to retrieve the Damyo's eyes.

Hazukashi Hyuuga's eyes darted around the small Senju campsite, small veins bulging on the side of his head. Good, no one seemed to have found it yet. He relaxed, the veins on his head receding in size. He wandered around, bored, wondering what was for dinner. He hoped he wouldn't have to resort to eating those stale rations again, they always dried out his mouth. He half considered going into the forest to find some wildlife, but decided against it on the grounds of a potential Uchiha attack, but in reality, he just couldn't be bothered. The hot autumn air made him drowsy, and the effort of dragging himself into the woods, just to jump on wildlife was beyond him. He was about to decide whether to check out the mission listings or not when he heard a child's scream pierce the dull afternoon air. Interested, he walked over to the source of the noise. At the least, it would entertain him. Peering round a corner, he spied the commotion. What he saw was not pretty. There was a young boy huddled over a furry object, crying. Peering closer, he saw that the furry thing was a small dog, ragged, patchy fur matted with blood and sweat, an eye drooping out of the socket. Hazukashi stared for a bit, admiring his handiwork. He then realised that someone must have set it free from his cellar, and that same someone was probably none too pleased about the mutilation of their son's pet. Thinking quickly, he made up his mind on taking a mission. He turned and stealthily made his way to the mission board in a manner which reeked of low-budget animation. Stopping there, he glanced over the board. What he saw angered him. How dare the Uchihas attack other villages and then blame those villages when they fight back? Feeling for the knife at his belt, he grinned smugly. "Let's see what those Uchiha scum will think when I make that attack look like a mercy kill." He pulled the paper down and slammed it onto the desk with his knife, embedding the blade in the woodwork. "Sign me up." he said to the man on duty.

OOC: Ok, first of all, she's a bit strong for a Chunin. I'd say she was ready to be promoted to Jonin. How old is she now? I'll have Madara be like late teens early 20s ish. And, I'll have her be on Madara's team for this mission. I know its kinda godmodding but i'll start off the characters of the Uchiha together, just to get the ball rolling.

Madara Uchiha stood out in the woods at the rendevous point. Though he appeared to be meditating, he maintained awareness of his surroundings. And noticed the Genin "sneaking" up behind him. "Genin, you are late."

"I'm not just a genin! I'm Uchiha Jiro! You better address me by name!" He said stomping his feet in frustration.

"Do you have an excuse being late this time? You showed frequent tartiness has me wondering as to why your assinged to my team. I take prefer to take only A to S rank missions, yet here you are, your only going to slow me down. And frankly, your training has proved to be just that. Until I see you grow into something other than a Genin, you will always be reffered to as Genin."

"Madara Sensei, you talk alot."

Madara lost his cool momentarily, "I'll kill you!" He stood up and picked the kid up by his throat with his left hand, and drew a kunai with his right. Then stopped when he saw something puzzling, the child he lifted up had no fear in his eyes.

"Your funny, I think I'll enjoy being in your group. You almost had me scared for a second." He said with a smirk, before being dropped to the ground.

Madara composed himself, almost blushing with embarrassment. He decided it would be best to issue out the strategy if the mission to change his subordinates train of thought away from the awkward moment. "Our objective is to infultrate the palace about 20kilometers up. Find the lord of that palace, and kill him and remove his eyes. The reason the our group is so small is to minimize the possibilty of detection. The reason this mission is an A rank mission, is because its a vendetta. This person was responsible for the death of an Uchiha. And has probably hired Shinobi gaurds to defend himself against retaliation, at worst case... Senju. My strategy is simple. Have you engage directly, while I slip through thier ranks undetected, and finish the mission. Upon my signal, we flee."

 

ooc: I think I'll make her around the same age as Madara is thats okay.

OOC: Thats fine by me. And for the sake of keeping the story moving, i say we put the Senju clan already at or near the palace.

 

Honoka sat silently on the tree branch above Jiro and Madara, she listened in to what Madara was talking about the mission but that was about it. Out of boredom and habit, she started practicing random hand signs until someone talked to her. "This is gonna be another boring mission..." she muttered in a bored tone to herself.

 

The man behind the desk nodded stoically at Hazukashi. Taking it his application was satisfactory, Hazukashi vanished and reappeared at the palace a few minutes later in a fashion that reeked of bad animation and a desire to get the plot moving. He set up guard over the large double doors into the palace, thinking that no assassination ninja would just try to enter through the front, so the only thing he'd encounter would be genin, or stupid chunin at the worst. He glanced about for other Senju, but didn't notice any, so he assumed they were hiding. Doing the same, he ninjaported (that cheap animation) up an overhanging tree, and watched over the wall from there, after setting up a clumsy concealment jutsu.

 

"Alright. Thanks to intel from Shige, I can tell you that this will not be an easy task.", Hashirama said with a smile. He always tried to stay positive and smile to boost morale. "It seems we have that Uchiha Madara kid to deal with. Make no mistake about it. HE'S TOUGH! Quite skilled in genjutsu and detection so a sneak attack is out of the question. Where is Tobirama-kun?" Hashirama knew that when dealing with the Uchiha, he was always glad he had his trusted brother and comrades to help, as they were exeptionally difficult opponents to deal with. "Shige. Find Hazukashi and take point out front. I'll wait for my brother AND gaurd the daimyo. KAGE BUNSHIN no JUTSU!", He said. With the shadow clones gaurding the daimyo and he waiting in the main hall, Hashirama began to wait in meditation.

"Honoka, today I will challenge you with a particularly challenging mission, keeping our genin alive. Do you think you can handle that?" he questioned, leaking a bit of sarcasm out of his voice.

"Hey whats that supposed to mean! I'm an Uchiha! I can take care of myself!" Jiro said, scowling at Madara.

Madara then began equiping himself, slipping on the uppor portion of his black male Kimono. His hips he now girded about one one side with his Katana, the other with his sickle. Accross his back he attacked a rather large fan, attacked to the sickle with a chain. And a fanny pack to boot, containing suplies and throwing weapons.

Jiro snickered at Madara's clumsy equipment. And rubs his arms involuntarily, recalling what he had attached there. However, he seemed to carry no equipment at all, not even a scroll or pack to conceal other weapons in.

"Are you ready Honoka? At sunset we make our move." Madara spoke, peering out at the distance, towards the quickly fading sunlight.

 

"Babysitting some genin? Oh jeez, I dunno if I can handle that." Honoka chuckled. She jumped from the tree branch she was sitting on and landed silently on her tippy-toes.
She checked to make sure that her kunai pouch was strapped onto her right thigh properly and her supply pack was tied snugly to her belt around her hips. "I'm ready when you guys are." Honoka started stretching her arms and legs, looking after a hot-headed genin was going to be an interesting experience.

 

Madara gave an arrogant smirk. Well at least the kid will be out of my hair for a little bit, if he dies he dies. Madara looked at the last bit of visibility of the sun fade over the horizon, as the last bit faded away, he made a hand sign, and "vanished" using a teleportation jutsu, obviously taking position towards his mission.

"Hey! Madara sensei! Where did you go?" he ran to the spot where Madara once stood. "Awe, he didn't even say goodbye, how sad." He turned and faced his "babysitter."

"Hey lady, what do you do?"

 

"I do a bit of this and that." Honoka said with a grin. She started twirling a kunai around on her index finger. "We better get going now, hm? Oh yeah one thing, don't go doing anything stupid and getting yourself killed, okay?"

 

OOC: Daxma, I was contemplating taking Izuna myself, I'll leave him unclaimed until I decide. Sorry.

"Don't worry about me! I can take care of myself!" Jiro said, sounding the most foolish of them all. He then took off walking towards the palace they were supposed to engage, as if he was the leader.
