    What is an MEP?
    ​
    MEP stands for Multi Editor Project. Multiple editors working together on one project. Despite most MEPs usually using one song, one band, or one theme, this project will be more like a worm. Everybody makes a small video and in the end, we'll combine them together to form a whole video to showcase our editors.

    - Video Sources -​

    Since this is a Kingdom Hearts community, the allowed video sources will be Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy and Disney. Other sources unfortunately won't be allowed.

    - Song Selection -​


    Anything you want it to be but keep it PG-13.

    - Editing -​

    The editing style all depends on the track. If the track is fast-paced, the editing should reflect that, and likewise with a slow song. Use whatever style suits you best, though. Having different styles in this MEP is what I'm shooting for, as having all the tracks look the same isn't fun or appealing at all. This is a collection of our styles all in one project and I want it to look that way.

    - Rules -​


    - One of our lovely purple monsters, Stardust, will be the co-coordinator of this project. Her word shall be law! Listen or fear the banhammer*shot*

    - If you join the MEP, I expect you to be active or I will hunt you down. You are to keep everyone involved in the MEP up to date with your progress. Be it a little or a lot. I would like to know where everyone stands on their tracks. So try to keep us updated.

    - There is no limit on participants and no restriction on who can participate based on post count or join date, so everyone is free to join up!

    - At the moment, the time limit hasn't been decided on yet. It'll be determined by how many editors will be participating in the project.

    - No bumpers, watermarks, or anything of the such. They're very distracting and people will be able to find out who made what part just by looking at the description.

      I'll do it, since I'm able to make short videos like these without trouble saving

      And, I'm sorry in advance for the stupid question but I just need to clear these things up for myself, we're making a small video with a bit of a song of our choosing and then it's all put together right?

      I think I'd like to join. The only thing is, my computer has a virus and won't let me sign in to youtube, so I have problems uploading my vids to this site. But I think I should be able to use a different computer. Yeah, I could do that. I'll join! XD

      Yea, you've basically got the idea down.

      Yea, you can make your part with WMM. Although I don't know how well you can cut audio in WMM. If you have any problems getting the song cut correctly, I guess you can send the file to me and I can cut it for you however you like.

      Can everybody who is planning on joining the MEP send me their most recent video? Doesn't matter how old it is. I just want to see what everybody here is capable of.

      don't worry, you can cut music. It's not all that hard, just weird is all. After all, I use WLMM.

      If you browse the AMVC you'd find it but i'll give it to you. My most recent FINISHED project. Less than a minute, but the MEP part won't be much different, so that isn't very important.

      do you know how long you want our videos to be? I can think of a few songs I want to use, but depending on the max time limit, the song might need to change

      Right now, it looks like the upper limit will be 1 minute. Although I'll probably allow a few extra seconds over the limit if your song needs them to make the cut work and not sound weird.

      Okay! That's a relief. I now figured out what song I am doing and when I cut it, it turned out to be 1 minute and 18 seconds.

      the way I'm going it's probably going to be around 1 minute to 1:08.

      Edit: Ok, looks like the actual time is 1:05:16. I guess it really is a couple seconds more than 1 minutes. That and a few couple hundreths of a second more
