    1. What?
I am curious, good sir - have you ever touched upon Dawkins' The Selfish Gene?

I remember you saying that you're a Yugioh player too. My Duel Arena greatly lacks players so it would make me really happy if you could join...[IMG]

Sure the bodies might be healthier but the medicine wont be as good.
The water that we get now is actually pretty clean, not to mention they put nutrients in the tap water that we sorta need to live. But other than that it sounds like a good idea :O

Well, I guess that also fits into taste and perspective. I just don't like a lot of his stuff because it feels like he's mocking my beleifs. There is always more than one side to every story, so I guess that also means that people see things differently. He still uses the Speghetti monster term. And I beleive that every religion should be taught in schools, not just one. Simply because there is the whole Freedom of Religion thing and that there are some good stories in every belief. There was only one teacher who actually did that, and he was our history teacher. I also learned about Greek mythology while taking Astronomy and I'm very curious what other people beliee.

I just chose to believe because of my own life. I have a rare heart condition, a one in a million disease, and it was supose to kill me ever since I was an infant, not even suppose to see it past my first birthday. The odds of me making to today is a one in a two billion chance being that modern medicine has done their best to help me, but I've recieved virturally no treatments. I was suppose to be a gonner since six months old, yet here I am. That's just my reason; not trying to flaunt it, it's just my side of the story. (note, I'm not trying to be sarcastic or mocking. It's hard to tell emotion through text sometimes. Try reading this as if in a calm voice).

I'm ok. I'm omnipresent. Ignore the fact that I "needed" a dragon to travel to Texas.

He's just someone who openly mocks religion. He refered to to Jesus's sacrifce as a "horid and depraved notion" when dozens of beleivers see it more as a noble act of sacrifice and freeing of our sins. I've also heard him refer to God as a "Flying Speghetti Monster" which doesn't seem very respectful at all. Let's just say I have my reason for beleiving, and I can take a good joke or two, but Dawkins, for me, takes it a bit to far.

Everyone deserves respect, but what do you mean by Richard Dawkins being extreme? I've watched a few videos from him, and I read a good 30 pages of the God Delusion, so I'm not sure of an example.

That's fine. There are some people in every beleif that just ruin it for everyone. For Islams it's Al Queda, for Christians it's Catholics (by that, I mean EXTREME Catholics), and for Atheists it's Richard Dawkins. I just don't like the way how he mocks religion just becase I don't beleive in it. Does that mean I can mock Allah or Zues because I don't believe in them? I beleive that whatever situation you're in, show everyone a little respect.

Meh, sometimes. I'm am a beleiver in Jesus, but I have my own rules as well. I don't preech to people unless it's a discussion type thing or if I feel someone is depressed or feeling down. I'll only preech what I beleive if someone asks me about it because there have been times where I'm just talking and no one will listen. I'm kind of a weak person in real life, so pushing someone's buttons for me probably means I'd get beaten up. :P
