Ah, yes. Well, I'm shy myself, but fortunately, I'm very good at faking confidence. That's a skill you should acquire. Just pretend to have confidence. Force yourself to go outside of your comfort zone. I do it more or less every day, and it helps a lot. Doesn't matter if you're going crazy from faking it, it really helps. Then again, I'm usually approached. But I'd believe you would be approached, because I'm not gonna lie, you're gorgeous. (Of course, that may attract the wrong crowd, haha)

Alright. Well, it may be that you're just too dependent on others. There was one girl who studied where I went this summer, and she actually left after a week or so, because she couldn't handle it. Maybe you could travel with someone? But I mean, it could also be that the big city was a bit overwhelming as well. If you go to Oslo, you might have a similar reaction, but I don't know if it would be the same if it was a smaller city?

Anyway, if you only want to exchange for one semester, I know the place I went last year. It's called the American College of Norway.

It's Spanish, como estas = how are you. Linda = Beautiful/Gorgeous.

Anyway, if your linguistic talents are limited, Norway is definitely a good place to study, if you go to a university that offers classes in English. I do believe most Uni's do offer some kind of English classes.
I have a friend from Pennsylvania :o At least I think that's where he's from.
