Yeah, the BBC mini-series of course had far more time to achieve everything. Additionally, the 2005 was a "blockbuster" style film, I mean, Keira Knightley is in it... you've got to figure that they'd turn it into a romance more than anything, haha. Despite them chopping out so much (Jane & Lizzy's relationship basically got slashed to the bone), though, I thought the cinematography was quite lovely, and the movie was excellently casted.

I've read it I think three times, at this point, hah. I do know some unfortunate souls who do not like it and I weep for them near daily.

Ahh I've only gotten through about half of the BBC version, it's just so long! Would like to see the 1940s version, and I am apparently of the unpopular opinion that the 2005 version was very good. :( Have you read the book?

Take a good look at your schedule and make sure you're going to be able to actively post and respond.
