No.you can't attack directly whil i have monsters on the field. get rid of them and you can attack directly. you can destroy either one with the creator. Empress will do more battle damage to me.

You need to go through my monsters to attack directly.

well you've only just started. if you want to summon a level two monster on turn one. do the trick with marly then play double summon (google it for the image) summon a monster that doesn't require tribute and tribute both them and marly to summon it.

like when i first started the most i could do was summon a monster and that was it.

Once you get used to using a certain deck you'll start thinking of different combos

You could summon Mf with the ability to attack directly twice on turn one if you wanted. It would be an incredibly long move but you could do it.

Like to summon marly you use drive orb and discard larxene

But you can turn one summon any monster in my deck through a combination of certain cards.

Ok. Oh and i was watching the dual, tributes are monsters that you destroy in order to summon higher level monsters. if they have 4 or less stars under their name, they don't need a tribute. if they have 5 or 6 they need one. if they have 7 or more they need two.
