Green Tea is much better for you in so many ways. I drink a little of both.

Oh dude, I recommend you stay away from being so addictive to it. It's bad, take it from me.

Ever since I started college I've been depending on coffee too much..like I've been drinking for the past 3 weeks, every single day, coffee from Subway and Mcdonald's because if I don't I will fall asleep in class. It's terrible because I barely get sleep but it's the only thing that keeps me awake when I only get 5 or 4 hours of sleep. I suggest that sure one cup won't hurt you in the morning but..don't depend on it at such a young age okay?

I started drinking coffee at around that age or sooner I don't remember really. About it stunning your growth. .well I believe that's true then again I'm somewhat average height [5'6?]. Just try not to get addicted to it. .that's when the problems start. Perhaps a cup every know and then but not to the point of needing it to be awake.

I've been casually drinking coffee most of my life, regularly since I was 14 and daily since I was 16. The only drawback so far is that I've become dependent on it, and get bad headaches/migraine attacks if I wait too long for the first mug. And it can get a bit costly if you have to have at least one cup a day on the long run...

According to my dentist energy drinks and and sodas (especially diet) are far, far worse than coffee, especially if you drink it black. There's just so much sugar, caffeine and and chemicals in them, that they rot your teeth and are far more likely to make you gain weight. Put as little sugar as possible, same with milk, and all you have to worry about is coloring (which is far easier to fix than cavities and stuff).

I don't recommend having so much coffee in such rapid succession, you said you had 13 mugs in less than 48 hours? Yeah, expect some sleeping problems in the next few days. If you really want to continue drinking coffee, start out small, a little cup in the morning if you really need it. You'll probably start needing more and more of it later on, so if you don't want to be dependent on it, and don't want the extra cost, don't start the habit now.

You can always have coffee, but use moderation. Coffee is not ALL that bad unless you get addicted to the point of caffine withdrawl, which will be agnoy for someone because your body will CRAVE the caffine to the point that you could get sick.

I had coffee from a young age *Age 12* but never had as much as some people do, and I never had any problems with it. But I have one GREAT example when it gets bad:

I had this math teacher from the 9th-10th grades that always had coffee with him, morning, noon, and night. His breath REEKED of coffee and was always jittery and quick, that we had to ask him plenty of times to slow down so we could get the subject or understand something.

One time, one of my classmates knocked over his coffee cup by accident and he FREAKED out, I mean on the verge of tears over a cup of coffee. He left the class to go outside and get another. So this is when it gets bad.

Even with other things, like junk food and liquor (when you reach the legal age, kiddies) You just need strict moderation. I have one cup of coffee every two weeks and it works out well
