A Dreams Nightmare

Eva smiled, then looked down, drawing his eyes carefully. "They are beautiful." she commented.

 

Fighting off a blush that dared to appear sai gave her a small smile.

"Thank you"He said softly.

 

Eva smiled, then finished, turning the book to show it to him. "What do you think?"

 

Looking at the drawing with such awe, such details.

"This is very nicely done namine"Sai said in awe.

 

Eva blushed, comparing. "Nothing close to the real one." she murmured. "But its good to help remember."

 

Blushing sai played with the ends of his hair.

"but your amazing"He said softly.

 

Eva blushed again, shaking her head. "I taught myself when I was little..." she flipped the page to a girl with blonde hair also drawing in a notebook. "Then I practiced with things I dreamed about. Maybe that's why HE wanted me..." she murmured.

 

"you can control your dreams not him, you are free to do as you wish...you shouldn't let them control you"Sai said with a smile.

 

Eva smiled. "But its good to remember......." she turned to another page, involving a battle. "And not all the dreams were bad." she grinned.

 

He shook his head being totally embarrased. "I didn't mean to scare you honest. I was ready to take a shower and then I had some trouble getting my boot off because my sock had gotten wet and bunched up making it difficult. What did you think I was doing in there when you heard me grunting?" He asked with suspision.

 

"oh? which dreams weren't bad?"Sai asked with a smile.

Letting out she gave a small "ah" hearing the explanation, sitting up she looked away with a blush. "erm nothing I thought nothing of..of it"She said as her face slowly gets redder with every word.

 

Eva smiled, blushing a little. "The ones with you....and my mom..and my friend."

 

Blushing he looked away "thank you im glad someone will remember me in their dreams"Sai said softly.

 

Eva blushed, then looked down. "Who wouldn't?" she murmured, closing her sketchbook.

 

"everyone I know"Sai said as a small smile appeared on his face, holding back the flashbacks that dared to re-surface.

 

Eva looked up, concern in her eyes. "Why?" she asked softly.

 

"I was one my own since I was 8 because my parents witnessed that I had the ability to control darkness and lightning and I had no friends because I was called a freak"Sai said as the small smile disappeared.

 

Eva went next to Sai and sat next to him. "I'm sorry...I'll be your friend...."

 

Gently sai placed his head on her shoulder as he let out an unsteady breath.

"Thank You"He said softly.

 

Eva smiled gently, stroking his hair back. "Everyone needs a family." she murmured, as if reciting from memory. "Family means no one gets left behind."
