    Julie laughed nervously, looking away from Raphael after hearing his first comment. She didn't understand how he would want to see one. True, they did seem like beautiful creatures, but it would most likely kill Raphael and her if one ever showed up again. She sighed out softly, taking a few steps forward. "I believe...Welk is the closest city," she muttered towards Raphael.

    "Well, let's get going then. Shall we?" Raphael began to head in a direction. He looked at Julie. "Uh.. Where is Welk again? Heheh..." He rubbed the back of his head awkwardly and laughed a little bit more.

    Kirie grasped her dress as she picked up her pace, racing through the trees as she heard the comotion ahead of her. "What is it now?" she whispered under her breath as she ran. When she saw what it was, she stopped short and took a step backwards into a shadow. "Another monster, really?" This was getting old for Kirie. Could they have at least four hours of peace? Kirie stood there, focusing on the Chimera with Luna. 'I don't have much left in me... but I can try.' A small light went from Luna towards the beast, just as it did ealier with the previous monsters.

    'I think I'll have to do it! Here goes noth-' Just before the Chimera could lunge at Serin the Chimera paused, seemingly confused. It was as if it could no longer see where Serin was. "Kirie?" He said aloud, knowing the faerie had distracted the monster with the use of Luna. As soon as he spoke the Chimera growled, having heard him. 'It can still hear!' Serin dived to the side, feeling a gust of wind rush past him as the Chimera struck out, using its other senses to track him down. He figured that he wouldn't last much longer without pulling out some powerful magic. 'I'll have to think of a way to explain it to Kirie later...I just need to survive for now.' A dark glow momentarily came from his left wrist but it vanished almost instantly when he saw a nearly invisible arrow dig into the Chimera's side.

    Serin turned his head to see that it was Lyn who seemed to have finally arrived. He figured she must have wandered off...or something. The Chimera didn't take too lightly to her actions and lunged right at her, clawing at her with its powerful limbs. The single blow not only cut deep into the girl but knocked her hard into a nearby tree. She didn't seem to be breathing after that... "Kirie run! I'll meet up with you in a sec!" He shouted, knowing that he had to kill the beast quickly before it tried hurting her as well. There was no time to grieve over Lyn, he simply had to focus and think about it later when things cooled down.

    OOC: Spunk wanted me to kill her character off in some sort of heroic way...so there we go. <<

    Julie muttered a quiet "Um." as she thought, turning to look over her shoulder and then back ahead of her. "We should be heading to the right direction," she said. "The town elder had told me Welk is like...at the boarder of open land and the forest." Before she would continue walking, Julie looked down at Tempest and pinned it to her dress. So I don't carry it around all the time in my hand. She looked at Raphael and smiled faintly. "Lets go." Without another word, she started walking once more, her eyes remaining straight ahead of her.
