A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

Eaa sat in a corner of the house reading a book, she was trying to calm herself down when she looked up slightly, "Izzi.. what are you doing?"
Izzi looked over at Eaa as she walked from another room, "I've gotta go out for a moment."
Eaa shot up, "No don't!"
"Lock the windows, lock the doors, make sure no one gets in, you'll be okay Eaa." she said locking the door as she shut it.
Eaa instantly shot up and locked all the windows and doors in the house. "Izzi and her job, she won't be gone for a moment.."

 

I don't want to let go of her hand!
Then be prepared for the Water Kingdom to sink under the waves. Its her or the whole Kingdom.
....

Abee's face screwed up.

Fine....
Good, good. Children are being kidnapped. They get away in the water. You'll be able to find them....

His face relaxed and his eyes opened slightly.

 

Opal's face lit up as he opened his eyes and threw herself over him in a huge hug, "Abee! You're okay, I've been so worried"

 

Abee looked at her. "What happened? How did I get here?" His eyes had changed, they were as deep blue as the sea.

 

"The fish, we were on patrol and some fish suddenly tried to take you away and knocked you out. They left you unconcious and I brought you back here" She looked curiously at him "Your eyes..." His eyes were a deep blue, gorgeous, but why had they changed?

 

"Oh.... I get it now..." Abee looked away from her, thinking. "Where did they try to take me?"

 

"I'm not sure, they smacked you into a sea wall, then they dissappeared into a sea cavern, leaving you falling" Opal told him, she hated seeing him troubled like this.

 

Abee thought for a second before sitting up. Getting off the bed, he ran along out of the infirmanry and down the corridors.

 

Opal ran afer him, "Abee! Where are you going? What's wrong?"

 

Abee ran outside and down the steps, heading towards the shore. Before even reaching the sand, a wash of dizziness came over him and he collasped to the floor.

 

Opal caught up with him and knelt next to him, "Abee, talk to me, what's wrong?" She wrapped her arm around him and helped him sit up.

 

Abee looked up at her. "I NEED to get back into the sea."
"Haste is waste Abee." A voice came.
Abee looked up towards teh voice to see Nigaito standing there with his hands in his pockets.
Nigaito walked down the steps. "You took a nasty hit there Hushuabee. Please take it slowly."
Abee frowned. "Don't call me that."
"That IS your full name, is it not? Well, the name that Opal gave you when she found you."

OOC: In the old thread, Opal saw Abee for the first time and said 'Human Scarecrow' to him.

 

OOC: Actually, she asked him his name and he told her that was what the men called him, Opal knew no other name for him so called him that. But I'll go along with it.

Bic: Opal looked up at Nigaito, "Leave him alone and if you don't mind we need to get past." She helped Abee up and began to move towards the sea "Don't worry, you'll get to the sea"

 

Nigaito watched them both.
Abee shook his head and pushed Opal away. "I'm sorry!" Running towards the sea, he dived in and swam off.
Nigaito frowned and jumped in after him, swimming after Abee.

 

Opal looked with dismay but as she saw Nigaito follow, she ran after him and dived in "I said leave Abee alone!"

 

Abee swam faster, following the path that the fishes had took.
Nigaito looked over his shoulder at Opal. "I'm interested in where he's going. Remember your place Opal, speaking like that to a Prince is a bad idea." He looked onwards to Abee.

 

"Yeah, I know, but I don't like anyone being mean to the one I love" She swam alongside Nigaito, watching Abee "I think I know where he's going, though I don't know why"

 

"Strange." Nigaito laughed. "You say 'The One I Love' like that is Abee." He looked at Opal, smiling. "That isn't Abee. Well, not the TRUE Abee. Its him during his Chosen Form. Thats why he's acting odd."
Abee stopped by the sea wall and looked around. Swimming towards the cavern, he entered.
Nigaito followed after him before stopping at the cavern entrance. "Opal, don't go any further. We got two big problems here. One, the water pressure is too strong in there, we'll be crushed. And Two, this is the den where the Sea Wyrm sleeps."

 

Opal sighed and stared longingly into the cavern, she knew Nigaito was probably right but it felt like her heart was tearing in two though she didn't show it. "Sea wyrm? How can Abee survive it then?"

 

"He's the Chosen One of the Sea. Its not a suprise if the Wyrm lets him past." Nigaito shrugged. "But we should wait here."
Abee carried on swimming, almost knowing where to go.
