Izzi shrugged then looked back up at the sky again.

 

Alphonse smiled at them both.
Cid nodded.

Karou bought the fruit and put them in his bag. "Hey, have I seen you before? I swear I've seen you in the castle."

 

"Yeah, I'm one of the lower guardians.. They don't really ask for me there often anymore. Which is alright. So I can make sure poor Eaa is alive.." Izzi said looking back at him.

 

"Eaa? Is that your daughter?" Karou asked, walking alongside her.

 

Kami smiled. Well then. Time to go. Coming Ally?

 

"Technically, I've watched over her since she was young, but she isn't my real kid." Izzi replied.

 

Alphonse nodded and waved at Nel. "We'll be back later." He then turned to Kami.

Karou nodded. "She's lucky you adopted her before the disappearing started."

Izzi nodded slightly, "She's always been lucky, she doesn't really remember much of what happened before I found her, that saddens me though.."

Alphonse followed after her and shut the door behind. Hugging her from behind, he smiled. "At least Cid won't tell anyone."

"Poor her." Karou said. "I've got two sons. Matt and Mello. Both oddballs, doesn't help when Mello has that thing where he's naughty and can't help it. ADHD is it? I can never remember."

 

"I think ADHD is when they can't focus on one thing at a time, so Like one moment he's talking to you and the next he's staring at an ant fascinated.

 

Kami smiled and held his arms. How are you so sure of that?

 

"Matt does that." Karou smiled. "He acts like an ant too. Constantly carrying his baby cousin Near or messing around with little electronics or eating hunny."

"Cause I'll kick his ass if he tells anyone." Alphonse grinned.

 

Izzi started laughing, "It sounds like you've got one big happy family there."

 

"Yeah. At least Matt and Mello have company that isn't eachother. The Prince Lawilet likes playing with them both. I guess its a win-win for them." Karou nodded.

 

Izzi blinked then stopped walking, "Okay I'm just making sure you said this and my medicine isn't kicking in, you just said Prince Lawilet right?"

 

Karou stopped, nodding. "Yeah. I'm a sorta 'uncle' apparently to him. Its cause I have to live in the castle so I see him often."
