A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

Lawliet grinned then went back to sit on mummy's lap.

 

Matt smiled at Kaoru, still dazed. "Can I have some tea...?"
"No..." Kaoru smiled back at him.
"Why not...?"
"Because it isn't 6 o'clock. Tea time is at six, remember?"
Matt reached into his pocket and brought out a broken watch that was stuck on six. "Yes it is...." Brown liquid was dripping from the watch.
Kazune frowned. "What is Matt acting like?"
"Matt picked up a weird personality from one of his games. Alice in Wonderland? He likes to act like the Mad Hatter."
"Never heard of it."

 

OOC: I'm so tempted to make L ask why Xyam isn't in PJ's...

BIC:

"Neither had I. Oh Matt, did you try to fix this with butter, jam and tea?" Kaoru asked, looking at the clock.
Matt nodded, passing out again.

 

"Mummy?, why are you wearing daddy's shirt and no trousers?"

Xyam went red.

 

Hikaru looked up at Xyam, watching her. He didn't even seem fazed at the fact that she was wearing that outfit.

Kaoru sighed and carried on holding Matt's hand.

OOC: On the first day, God created light and air and fish and jam and soup and potatoes and haircuts and arguments and small things and rabbits and people with noses and uh... jam, more jam! And socks and flies and tobogganing and showers and toasters and grandmothers and uh... Belgium...

Xyam blushed more. "I'll tell you when you're older"

 

"Mummy got cold while Daddy was looking for a stork. Daddy gave Mummy his shirt to wear but then the stork flew down and stole her trousers. Daddy gave chase but then gave up and got another shirt for himself when he heard Mello and Near went on holiday." Hikaru explained dryly before going quiet again.

 

OOC: okay then, weird explanation...

BIC:

"Yeah, that's why..."

"Why was daddy looking for a Stork?"

 

"Cause Daddy wanted L to have a younger brother or sister." Kazune said, picking Lawliet up and hugging him.
Akuji walked in behind Kazune, holding onto his trouser leg and looking very sleepy.

 

Xyam blushed again.

Lawliet hugged back, but looked confused none-the-less.

 

Kazune smiled, looking at Hikaru. "Did you manage to cheer him up?"
Akuji let go of Kazune and walked over to the seat next to Xyam. She sat it in, slumping against the back.

 

"I gave him sweets so he must be happy"he grinned.

 

"Of course. Sweets make everyone happy." Kazune grinned back.

 

"Am I really getting a younger brother or sister?"

 

Nel pouted. "But den we can't do thing that old pweple do..."

 

"If mummy says yes." Kazune smiled at him.

"You know, I'm authorited to be able to do adult stuff. Bar probably about three things." Cid said, putting Nel down. "Please wait here."
Alphonse came into the room, looking at Cid. "So how're you gonna do it."
"Same as you. I'll be unconcious for awhile after but I'll be fine." Cid explained, taking out a needle.

 

"Ciddy-Cider..." Nel walked over to him, despite what he said. She reached out an held his hand.
Kami walked in shortly after, without a word.

 

Cid looked down at Nel and smiled. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. I've always done it right when doing it on other people. So why should it fail now?" He took the needle and injected something into his arm. Cid put the needle down and clenched his fists in pain.

 

Nel held his hand tightly, tears forming in her eyes. "C-Cid..."
