A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

Cid shook his head. "I'm fine Nel.... It hurts slightly, but I'm... fine..." His eyes shut and he started to fall backwards.
Alphonse ran and caught Cid before he hit the floor. "Stupid old man."

Tears ran down Nel's cheeks. "Nel did wrong..."

Alphonse looked up at Nel. "No Nel. Cid did wrong, you did right in trying to stop him."
Cid had already started to look younger.

 

Nel watched him. "Will Cid be like this forever?" She placed a hand on his forehead.

 

"To be honest, I don't know." Alphonse said, watching Cid again.
Cid had started to grow smaller. Soon enough, his clothes were getting too big for him.

 

Nel turned away and walked to the door. "You can lay him on my bed while I got get him clothes." She walked out and made it down the hall.
Kami walked over to Alphonse. "I didn't think he was serious."

 

Alphonse stood up, carrying Cid. "When Cid sets his mind on something, like Kotarou, it happens."
Cid looked about 13 now.
"Jeez, I didn't expect it to go this fast."

 

"Yeah. I remember you took a good while." Kami rubbed her arm.

 

"Its probably easier to go down then up because all those cells had been there before." Alphonse said, walking out to find Nel's room.

 

"Yeah, you're right." Kami walked along side him. "I wonder why he did it though. Was it for Nel? Or just to make himself younger?"

 

"Maybe we can ask him when he wakes up." Alphonse said, pulling up a big bundle of clothing.
Cid's head stuck out from one end, five years old.
"Hey look, his glasses are too big for his face." Alphonse laughed, finding Nel's room and walking inside. He laid Cid down on the bed.
Cid instantly curled up into a ball.

 

Kami smiled. "He's kinda cute, isn't he?
Nel walked into the room with a boy outfit. She set them down on one of her tea table chairs.

 

Opal turned to Nigaito interested, "Really, so when we die we go to the moon? Kinda makes you want to die or at least not so afraid of dieing"

 

"I heard that." Cid said, opening his eyes and looking up at Kami. Sitting up, he looked at himself. "It worked. Just as I thought."
Alphonse started to laugh.
"What?! What's so funny?!" Cid demanded.
"You sound like a chipmunk!" Alphonse laughed harder.
Cid glared at Alphonse before pushing his glasses up his face. "Yes, as you MIGHT have guessed, during the aging down process my voice returned to it's normal, unbroken state."

"We do. But, no one goes to the dark side of the moon like your parents say. To be honest, there aren't any bad people in the world. They're just bad sprited at first." Nigaito smiled.

 

"So I was right to be optimistic. People are really naturally good. Go on, tell me more" Opal smiled considering what he told her.

 

Kami laughed too.
Nel stood by the bed, frowning.

 

Nigaito smiled at her, hugging his knees. "People who rob others sometimes have purpose. To feed their familes. That isn't bad, is it?" He looked back at the moon. "Kikaito thought so too."

Cid frowned at them both. "Leave me alone." He then looked down at his clothes, frowning. "Oh dear. I really liked this outfit."

 

"No, I suppose it's not. Who's Kikaito?" She asked curiously, twidderling with her hair.

 

Nel walked over to the chair and grabbed Cid's new outfit. She handed it to him. "Here. I tired to find some that looked the closest to yours."

 

Nigaito froze. "Shiit! I wasn't meant to say anything about him! Now Akaito's gonna kick my ass, maybe even Dad joining in too...."
"Who's Akaito?" Abee asked.
Nigaito covered his mouth, shaking his head.

Cid smiled at her and took the clothes and crawled under the covers, getting dressed. Crawling back out, he stood up on the bed wearing an outfit that practically looked the same as his old one. "Right! Part 1 of my plan is done."
"Part 1 of what plan?" Alphonse asked.
Cid smirked. "Originally, I was gonna use you. It was to make you a child again, put you in a vunrable position to be kidnapped by the child kidnapper then let you bring them down on the inside. But since an oppotunitu arised..." He glanced at Nel.
