A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

Xyam took Lawliet back to his room. "Back to bed for you.."

 

Hikaru sat still, his head twisted to the side. His eyes turned back to brown before him bursting out crying again. "What am I gonna do Kazune? Near is gone... Haruhi is coming back tomorrow... How can I tell her I let our son be kidnapped?!"

 

Opal quickly climbed out next to him, squeezed her hair, though she knew it would take forever to dry.

 

Nigaito jumped down from the glider and ran inside again.
Sapphira followed after him.
Abee smiled at Opal. "Come on." He held a hand out to her.

 

She put him back in his bed.

"Mummy?, can I really have a little brother?"

She kissed his forehead. "Maybe...depends what the Stork thinks..."

"Do you think I should write a letter to ask?"

 

She happily took his hand, got up and headed inside.

 

"Don't worry, I'll help you through this Hikaru..." Kazune put a hand on his shoulder. "We WILL get Near back."
Hikaru nodded, still crying.

Abee walked inside with her and headed to the throne room. Getting inside, he stopped seeing a bright-red haired man next to Kaito and a blonde haired man sitting on the floor. "Are these two Akaito and Kikaito?"
Nigaito smiled at them. "Yeah. The red head is Akaito and Kikaito is the other."

 

"Yeah, I think the Stork would like that" she smiled.

"I'll write it after breakfast" he smiled back, snuggling down under the covers.

 

"Umm, hi?" Opal said to them quietly.

 

Kazune helped Hikaru up. "Come on. I think you need to get some sleep."
Hikaru nodded, walking along with Kazune to his bedroom.

Kikaito instantly looked up at Opal, watching her quietly.
Akaito looked up, looking over at them both. "So I'm guessing these two are your so called heroes?" He asked, grinning.

 

Xyam picked up the stuffed Dinosaur on the floor and gave him to Lawliet, who grabbed it and cuddled it.

 

Opal glanced at Abee, unsure what to say.

 

Nel closed her mouth and looked down at Cid, anger still showing. "Come on." She turned and headed outside.

 

Kazune stopped outside Hikaru's room. "Try to get some sleep."
Hikaru nodded, opening the door and closing it behind him.

Nigaito nodded, smiling. "Yeah. This is Abee and Opal. Our heroes."
Abee bowed to Akaito slightly. "Its a pleasure to meet you."
"Abee.... Isn't that short for Hushuabee?" Akaito thought.
Abee nodded. "Yes."

Cid blinked and looked at Nel. Standing up, he ran after her.
Kotarou waited til they had left before frowning. "My daughter is not food."
"Everyone looks like food to me." Ruta huffed.
"Still. Call her that again and I'll set you on fire."
Ruta smirked. "Oh, but you wouldn't do that, would you? What about what I offered? All I need is food and I'll find the child kidnapper. Restore your respect. What about that Luuu~ka?!"

Cid blinked and looked at Nel. Standing up, he ran after her.
Kotarou waited til they had left before frowning. "My daughter is not food."
"Everyone looks like food to me." Ruta huffed.
"Still. Call her that again and I'll set you on fire."
Ruta smirked. "Oh, but you wouldn't do that, would you? What about what I offered? All I need is food and I'll find the child kidnapper. Restore your respect. What about that Luuu~ka?!"

Kazune smiled then headed off to Lawliet's room. Standing in the doorway, he watched Xyam. "Hikaru has gone to sleep. I calmed him down."

 

"Good, I hope he's ok..."

"Night Night Daddy!" he grinned, waving.

 

Kazune smiled and waved back at Lawliet. Suddenly, he stopped and walked over to Lawliet, picking him up. "Xyam, I don't wanna take any chances. Lawliet can sleep with us tonight."

Nel waited outside for Cid. She walked over and sat on a nearby rock with he name inscribed in it.

 

"YAY!I miss sleeping with Mummy and Daddy!"
