A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

"Argh! Get off!" Kami struggled. "Help! Alphonse! Help!"

Nel looked down and saw Cid. "Oh. Ciddy-Cider. Nel forgot you slept in her bed. Nel thought Datty wouldn't let youz."

 

Alphonse shook Kami slightly. "Kami?"

Cid pulled on his glasses, looking up at Nel. "Actually, I distinctly remember falling into REM sleep on that chair there." He pointed at a sofa with a blanket on. "You must have taken me in my sleep."

 

Opal nodded, "Yeah, I wonder what they are or were and if they're friendly"

 

Kikaito watched the screens coming from his palm. He then looked at Abee. Scanning him up and down, a drawing came onto another panal from his hand. "Mateus. God of Water. Genetic traces found in body." Kikaito still watched Abee.

 

"Woah, what else do you know?" Opal asked curious about this god.

 

Kikaito looked at Opal and scanned her up and down. A drawing came onto another panal next to Mateus. "Shiva. Goddess of Ice. Genetic traces found in body."

 

Opal looked at the drawing of Shiva, thinking about her own powers over ice "How many gods are there?"

 

"Presicely 17 have been discovered. Ifrit - God of HellFire, Shiva - Goddess of Ice, Bahamut - God of Air, Odin - God of Earth, Belias - God of Fire, Mateus - Joint God and Goddess of Water, Adrammelech - Goddess of Electricity, Zalera - Joint God and Goddess of Death, Shemhazai - Goddess of Soul, Cuchulainn - God of Poison, Exodus - God of the World, Hashmal - God of HellEarth, Zeromus - God of Gravity, Famfrit - God of HellWater, Chaos - God of HellAir, Ultima - Goddess of Light and Zodiark - God of Dark." Kikaito explain with the same monotonic voice.

 

Opal raised her eyebrows, "I had no idea there were so many. How come some of them are joint god and goddess?"

 

Kikaito didn't answer.
"Apparently there was a Godly war in which our Gods lost. They were banished and for their crimes, sent to watch over our continent. During the war, Mateus and Zalera took female hostages. Mateus used his has a human sheild and Zalera used his to drain powers from and illusionate so he can kill." Nigaito explained.
"We still don't know if thats true. But it seems that those two could be either male or female." Akaito but in.

 

Opal looked at them, "Riight, lovely. I kinda wish I hadn't asked now"

 

"But THATS where you two come in!" Akaito grinned, pulling Opal and Abee towards him. "Abee can read the stuff on the wall which means YOU Opal might be able to read the other stuff. Since you're both the Water Kingdom's Heroes."

 

OOC: You're gonna have to give me a clue what kinda things they say and also are you making this up on the spot? Cos it's pretty good.

Bic: Opal paused to consider this for a moment before nodding, "I guess so. I'll give anything a go, just tell me what needs to be done"

"Translate the rest." Akaito pointed at another panel. "Can you read it?"
Abee looked at it, frowning slightly. ".....Those who anger the skies above may cause the Hellwater to drown them out." He frowned. "... Ice... Water.... land...? I can't read the rest."

 

OOC: I am so envious of you, I really have no clue what to put - a hint please?

Bic: "Wait, let me look" Opal looked intently at the panel and blinked a few times as she realised she knew what it said, "I-I think I can read it"

Abee and Akaito watched her.

 

OOC: Thanks a lot! I kinda put myself in for that one though. Well, here goes nothing, I'll edit it if you have any better ideas. Man, this is hard, how the hell do yuo do it?

Bic: Opal looked at it and read, "Those who anger the skies above may cause the Hellwater to drown them out, through ice and water the land will be clensed of those who practice evil's work. But child, so little, may make a path to a new world to behold for those who remain untouched be evils hands but many will stand in your way. May the shrines protect you from evils hold and friends stand by you til your journeys end"

"Hey, Kikaito. What'd you think this reffers to?" Akaito looked over at Kikaito.
"Water." Kikaito replied.

 

Opal turned to Kikaito, still a little shocked she could read it, "What do you mean by water?"

 

"Kikaito barely speaks in sentences. Earlier, that was practically a months worth of words. He means the flooded water on the surface." Akaito explained.
