A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

Xyam just oggled at him.

 

Artemis stopped and looked up at Xyam. "Is there something wrong, your highness?" He asked.

 

She shook her head, still staring.

 

"Then why, may I inquire, are you staring at me?" Artemis asked, not moving.
Kazune looked from Xyam to Artemis.

 

"Because your hair is awesome"

 

Artemis went slightly pink and stood up straight. "W-Well, I hardly think so. It's only long."
"Very long. Why don't you cut it?" Kazune asked.
Artemis sighed and pulled a knife from the side.
"W-Wait! I didn't mean-"
Artemis pulled his hair back and cut it off. While it was falling to the floor, it turned into bubbles and popped.
Kazune blinked, looking at him.
Artemis put down the knife and held up a finger.

 

Xyam frowned. "Nuuu! why did you do that?! it was so awesome! why why why why WHY?!?!?!"

 

Kami blushed.

Nel was confused. "What are we going to do about it?"

OOC: That happened in bleach when she transformed...

"Wait for it...." Artemis sighed. Suddenly, his hair began to grow again. It stopped when it got to the same length as it was before then began to gently move as if it was underwater again. "I can't. It just grows like that."
Akuji handed Artemis the bobble.
Artemis took it and pulled back his hair. "So I have to use magik to get it in a small ponytail." He put his hair back in a ponytail and clipped it to the back of his head.

 

OOC: does he let it down when he sleeps?.....

BIC:

"Why don't you just leave it down?"

 

"Try walking around in a normal town with hair like mind without people staring at you. Possible? I think not." Artemis crossed his arms.
"Never mind your hair, what about you clothes? Not even people in the Water Kingdom wear stuff like that." Kazune pointed out.

 

"If you think about it, normal clothes would looks even stranger with his hair"

 

Artemis shook his head. "That isn't the point. I've heard from some of your servants gossiping that two children where stolen from here. Mihael Keehl and Nate River, am I right?"
Kazune nodded.
Light raised an eyebrow. "You mean albino and long hair Dad?"

 

"They went on Holiday" L corrected him.

 

Mei walked slowly, carrying many boxes. "Maybe it was a bad idea coming here alone. I didn't know I was going to get this much stuff."

 

Artemis looked at Lawliet for a moment before nodding. "Yes, excuse me."
"But, no one expect me, their parents, Lawliet and Xyam knew their real names." Kazune pointed out. "How'd you know?"
"I have my own way of getting at information." Artemis smiled.
"Turns out that Mihael was being naughty so They had to hit him. His head keeps bleeding and the brat keeps crying." Light butted in.
Artemis frowned at Light.
Light's appearance suddenly changed. He looked just like Mello but he was wearing a black kimono and had several bloody bandages around his head. "Let me outta here! We've done nothing wrong!"
Artemis' eyes widened at Light.

 

"Artemis, tell your thing to stop it before I lock him in the damn cupboard!" she frowned.

 

Artemis went very pale, watching Light.
Akuji hid behind Lawliet, scared.
"Light, please change back to normal." Artemis asked after a pause.
"Which normal do you want?" Light asked.
"Human normal."
Light nodded and changed back to his normal self sitting on the floor. "Its been ages since I've done that." He looked proud of himself.
"Don't do it again Light. You know how much me and your sister hate you doing that."

 

"Is what he did true?"

 

"Course it is!" Light smiled.
Artemis looked down then at Xyam. "Yes. Light can shapeshift, but only to forms that have ever come into existence. For example, he can't shapeshift into Shiva, the Goddess of ice since she has never came into existence. But he can shapeshift into you Kazune, because you exist." He explained.
"Mom always liked it when I shapeshifted. I inherited it from her. Doesn't stop be from hating her guts though."
