A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

"I... l...l...ov...e... you?" Reese said.

 

Cid went bright red, trying to keep his eyes at her face. "Y-Y-You look f-f-fine!"

Kazune looked over at Artemis. "You sure?"
Artemis nodded. "Yeah. I know where her orphange is. I can show you there."

Kaida smiled and kissed his cheek. "Sorry I snapped at you earlier..... I was just worried about you...."

 

Nel scowled. "Don't look at my face. Look at my oufit."

 

"Where are we going?" She asked as they ran.

 

Reese shrugged. "It's fine."

 

Cid forced himself to look at her outift. Immediatly, he looked back up at her face again. "There, I looked! You look fine!"

"To ask how to get off this ship and into the water!" Abee grinned.

Kaida rested her head on his chest. "We've all missed you so.... Sapphira has still been going to see Nigaito like she should. And Alphonse is marrying Kami, isn't that great?"

 

Nel pouted adn placed her hands on her hips. "You didn't look right."

 

"Nel, please don't force me....." Cid whined.
The male servant stood up with a measuring tape and wrapped it around Nel's chest, measuring her.

 

"Where is it?"

 

"He's not scared! Why are you?" Nel asked.

 

"In the center of the continent, there's a place where every Kingdom meets. In that small area of land is a dark forest that not even the Earth King can control. Inside there is her main orphange." Artemis explained.
Kazune blinked. "Hey, I remember reading like a poem on that. 'An old building out of the sun's reach, hallways with decay starting to leach. Behind the door in a dark back room, were children remembered by what, by whom? They had been waiting for you to visit them for a long time, we're so happy! We're so happy! Please play with us for a time'. Apparently, some people went there and one came out alive and wrote that poem. Thats only the starting verse though."

 

"It sounds creepy.."

 

"Nel, I'm used to seeing women just in their underwear. This doesn't faze me or scare me. You must understand that Cid hasn't really had any female attention in 12 years. You could just say that he's starting out again and these things are new again for him." The male servant said, walking away from Nel and back to his work.

Artemis nodded. "She should be there. And if you're lucky, Mihael and Nate must have taken a holiday there."
Kaoru came down the corridor, carrying Matt. He stopped when he saw Artemis.
Artemis looked back at Kaoru.
Kaoru looked at Kazune then back at Artemis. "Xyam...... Why has Kazune got a twin blonde mosher....?"
Artemis frowned. "I do beg you're pardon! I am NOT a mosher!"
"Okay then..... Why has Kazune got a blonde long haired posh twin?"

 

"Oh, his somebody came to erm visit"

 

Kaoru raised an eyebrow. "Eh?"
Artemis sighed. "We are two parts of the same whole. Kazune, as you might know, is a being called a Nobody. To every Nobody, there is a Somebody, where the Nobody orginally came from. Either by the Somebody loosing his or her heart and the hollowed body left behind gains a concious or a Nobody or Somebody is born and the Somebody or Nobody is born at the same time. For me and Kazune, its the second way." He explained.

 

"Mine is dead" she smiled.

 

Nel bowed her head. "I'm sorry. I didn't know."

 

"Nice thing to announce Xyam." Artemis rolled his eyes.
Kaoru still had a blank look. "Anyways.... I came to tell you that Kaiko and Haruhi are back. Haruhi is tending to Hikaru and Kaiko is depressed so I went to fetch Matt. I had rang them the night before so they both know. Haruhi seems so busy with Hikaru that she's forgotten to be upset." He shrugged.
Light looked at Matt and jumped down from Artemis' arms. Looking up at him, he cocked his head. "Mail Jeevas... Such an odd name...."

"Its okay Nel. You didn't know...." Cid smiled at her.
"Well, its done." The male servant came over to Nel, handing her clothes. It was a three-quarter length dress that looked similar to her old outfit, just a bit more mature. "Try it on."

 

Nel smiled and took the oufit into the other room.

 

"How do you know that?"
