Cid watched her. "Sorry Nel...."

 

Nel continued to eat her crossiant. "Oh well..."

 

"You can go to school when this all blows over." Cid smiled.

 

"I can!?!" Nel exclamed.

 

"You have to. I went when I was a little boy." Cid smiled.

 

"Yay!"​

Nel shoved the rest of her food in her mouth.

 

Cid laughed at her wolfing down her food.

 

Nel swollowed all her food. "Now time for fire practice!" She grabbed Cid and Laura and ran off outside.

 

Cid let himself be dragged along with Nel.
Laura started laughing with happiness.

 

Nel made it out. "Here we are!" She let go of both of them.

 

Cid looked around and nodded. "Good enough place. Hopefully, we'll not burn everything down."

 

"Yay! I'm ready!" Nel was pumped up.

 

Cid pointed at Nel's tummy. "Fire comes from the stomach. As well as the heart." He pointed at her heart. "Weilding it, you have to use them both." He clicked his fingers and a small flame appeared on his thumb. "But you gotta be careful. As much fire is helpful, it can hurt."

 

Nel paid attention to every word.

 

"I know, I know.... But I'd rather me tell him then Light telling him." Kazune replied, rubbing the back of his neck.

"You've got to will the fire to come out. Feel that your fire is strong and it'll come out strong. Don't give up if it doesn't come on your first try." Cid smiled.

 

"Light shouldn't be telling him in the first place!"

 

"Thats not my fault if Light hates Nobodies. Half of the Fire population still does. Plus Lawliet was interested why Light kept on calling him nothing." Kazune replied calmly. He wasn't going to loose his cool over this.

 

Nel took a breath and focused. "Okay."

 

"Well...er, you could have told Light not to call him that"

 

Cid watched her calmly.

"Yet L still would have heard that and asked." Kazune smiled.
