A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Lucas reached out to her, his fingertips brushing her cheek.

 

Karen began to cry again. She placed her hand on his.

 

Lolipop stood beside her.
Lucas held her hand, his going slightly through hers. "Where are you?"

 

"Right here... but not right here..." Karen's eyes became flood with tears.

 

"Hows that possible...?" Lucas asked. "The Underground? Are you there?"

Kazune smiled. Standing up, he took his hand and walked out.

 

L eventually followed her, playing with his fingers.

Matsu skipped alongside him.

 

Kazune laughed, taking both his hands and lifting him up when he skipped.

 

"Zwoooohm!"

Kazune smiled at him, turning the corner to the room Xyam was in.

 

She was flat on her face sprawled out across the floor.

 

Kazune's eyes widened. He let go off Matsu's hand and ran over to her, picking her up. "Xyam? Xyam!"

 

"She won't answer you..."a female voice came from the shadows.

 

Kazune looked up at the shadows. "Why won't she?" He asked, eyes narrowing.

 

"Because she needs me"

 

"Why does she need you?" Kazune asked.

 

OOC: Guess what? You didn't reply again

BIc: "Abee? I said what you wanna do now?" Opal asked looking at him.

 

"Laze around." Abee smiled.

 

Karen wanted to answer but felt unable to.

Amai stopped in front of a batch of cookies and started decorating them.

 

OOC: Make something happen, pretty please. I'm half tempted to make her go into labour.

BIC: Opal shook her head and laid back

 

Lucas watched her. "I taste sweets."
Lolipop grinned. "That's probably from me then."
Lucas looked up at Lolipop, seeing him clearly. Sitting up, his eyes seem to change. "So you're the one who stole Karen." His voice was deeper.
"What're you going to do about that then?" Lolipop asked.

OOC: Do that then.
