A King's Story 4: Fading Light

"Sunohara is a cocky baastard that thinks too much of himself." Satoru replied. "Look. How about you try to find something that intrests you here? What did you like to do at home?"

Sunohara hugged him tighter. "Hey, don't cry..."

 

He shrugged. "I dunno.."

"I hate it when people argue.."

 

"Theres gotta be somethin that you liked to do." Satoru replied.

"I don't think anyone does." Sunohara smiled. "But to be honest, Rika was really tellin the truth."

 

"I used to draw a lot"

"No, I know she isn't, Brother would never do that, he's a good guy"

 

"Well, we gotta festival coming up. Maybe you could help with the decorations?" Satoru smiled.

"Matsuda. First thing you learn here is that Rika don't lie. Never does." Sunohara told him.

 

L nodded a bit.

"I - I don't believe you"

 

"It won't be that bad. The festival's fun and i'm sure you'd have warmed up to this place slightly by then. Afterwards, you can try doing something else." Satoru put an arm around his shoulders.

"I ain't asking ya to Haine." Sunohara smiled.
Rika's eyes flittered slightly. "Nngh..."

 

L shuddered. "Please, don't touch me, I don't like being touched, especially by people I don't know yet"

Matsu looked across at her. "Rika-Chan?"

 

Satoru instantly let him go. "You're definatly like your father. I did the same thing to him when he was your age but only he recoiled and muttered 'Don't touch me so easily.'" He smiled. "And so, I know just how to act around you."

Rika opened the one eye not under the flannel. "Hello Matsu." She smiled slightly.

 

He smiled a bit. "Well see how long that lasts"

He shuffled over and held her hand.

 

"Well at least you're not throwing a paddy anymore." Satoru grinned.

Rika squeezed his hand. "Can you cure it?" She asked, looking away from everyone.
Nagisa nodded. "After awhile, the wound will heal up but it'll leave a-"
Rika pulled off the flannel, her face looking normal again. There wasn't a trace of a burn scar.

 

"Hey, I can't help that, It's a trait from mom"

Matsu decided it was best not to ask.

 

"It noticed that. To be honest, shes kinda scary..." Satoru rubbed the back of his neck.

Nagisa and Sunohara's eyes widened.
Rika felt her face. "Thank you." She smiled.

 

"Mom's not scary"

"Wow! Rika-Chan must be Magic!"

 

"To me she is..." Satoru replied.

Rika smiled. "Thank you Matsu."

OOC: now wheres her flower?

 

He grinned. "She's your sister-in-law"


he smiled at her.

OOC: you'll get it when ever i say so....

 

"Xyam and Luka are my sisters-in-law... Complete opposites..." Satoru sighed.

"I should go apologise to Lawliet." Rika stood up.

 

"Why?, what's Luka like?"

Matsu nodded.

OOC: I might plonk viv back into it, make her ask about the spanish thing XD

 

"Pink, frilly and happy with hugs and kisses for everyone while she cleans the house with her little animal friends." Satoru snickered.

"Lets go then." Rika headed out.

Dark frowned, going through sheets of paper while sitting at his study desk.

 

"I see what you mean, well except the hugs and kisses part, she's all over dad"

Matsu followed quietly.

Vivienne was randomly sat at the other end of the room."So whats with the whole 'living forever' thing?"
