A King's Story 4: Fading Light

"Yup." Cid kissed her.
"You sound like your mother." Alphonse grinned.
"Maaaybe." Lucas smiled.

 

Nel kissed him back.

"I do!?!" Raikou shouted, throwing Chicchai high in the air.

Karen smiled more and stroked his cheek.

 

"Good enough date?" Cid asked.
"Only what you said then did." Alphonse grinned.
Lucas kissed her neck.

 

"Amazing date." Nel smiled.

Raikou frown playfully. "Meanie Daddy."

Karen blushed shyly.

 

"Good good." Cid smiled.

"Yes. Yes I am." Alphonse hugged her.

Lucas smiled at her.

 

Nel snuggled against him. "It's really great. I don't think anyone at school has ever been on one like this."

Raikou hugged back, still frowning slightly.

Karen smiled back, holding his cheek with her hand.

 

Cid smiled, holding her. "Well now you've got something to brag about."

Alphonse stood up, picking Raikou up with him.

"I love you." Lucas said.

 

"Heh." Nel looked at him. "There's no need to."

Raikou looked up and gasped. "Where's my Chicchai!!!"

Karen blushed pink, smiling. "I love you too."

"And why not?" Cid asked.

Alphonse looked around. "I don't know.... You threw him...."

Lucas smiled, resting on Karen.

Near laughed. "I guessed."

 

Opal looked at him quietly, unsure what to do, she was really worried and didn't know what had happened to him.

 

"Because I have no need to gloat about the love of my life." Nel smiled.

Raikou looked all around. She jumped out of Alphonse's arms and searched randomly.
Chicchai sat on Aphonse's shoulder, watching Raikou curiously.

Karen closed her eyes. "This is wonderful."

 

"Good." Cid hugged her.
Alphonse laughed, looking at Chicchai.
Lucas nodded. "Very much so."

 

Nel hugged him back. "I love you, Cid."

"This is no time for laughing Daddy!!!" Raikou looked inside a vase. Getting on her tiptoes, she fell inside it.

Karen looked at him, smiling. "So why'd you pick me?"

 

"I don't know" Kaia answered "I though you needed to go somewhere and it was dangerous"

Amai stood quite, not knowing what to do. She looked down to the ground, watching her feet kick dirt.

"We can go wherever you want but danger will come to us. That'a also why I must leave at times." Kiku replied.

 

"Oh" Kaia said, "I don't really know, I never really go to one particular place, I just..um..wander?"

 

"I love you too." Cid kissed her.
Alphonse walked over to the vase and put Chicchai in there. "Found her yet?"
"You were different." Lucas smiled. "Before, it was get married to her. Here's the daughter of the Earl of Claymore, Lucas. You can't marry a commoner." He hugged her. "I guess I just ignored that and fell for you."

 

"That's okay." Kiku smiled.

Nel kissed him back.

"No I- CHICCHAI!!!" The vase broke from her high-pitched yell.

Karen hugged him back, blushing. "O-Oh...What about the other maids?"

 

Cid slipped his tongue into the kiss.

Alphonse's eyes widened at it. "Well that was interesting....."

"I have a cute fetish..." Lucas admitted. "The way you blushed like mad around me drove that fetish up the wall and on the ceiling."
