A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Cid smiled back. "C'mon, lets head to school."

"It's okay." Alphonse smiled.

"Meh, I'm not too bothered." Michuru smiled.

 

"Okay! Let me go grab my things." Nel raced off to her room.

Raikou smiled as she was hit by a piece of cake. "Hey!"

Karen nodded and looked at Lucas.

 

Cid followed after her, smiling.

Alphonse laughed, grinning.

Lucas smiled at her. "See? You can get things resized."

 

Nel grabbed her backpack and lunch. She searched her room for her hat. "Where could it be? I can't go to school without it."

Raikou pouted, wiping the cake off.

"Yeah." Karen smiled back at him.

 

Cid stood in the doorway. "What're you looking for?" He asked.

Alphonse smiled at her.

"And it's good that Michuru will do it." Lucas smiled.

 

"My hat. People at school can't know who I am so I wear my hat and glasses." Nel said, looking throough her closet.

Raikou picked up more cake and threw it at Alphonse. For some reason, it actually hit him.
Senkou was a bit surprised.

Karen looked ack at Michuru. "I hope you don't decide to alter my clothes."

 

"Oh yeah." Cid nodded, pulling out some over sized glasses and replacing his small ones with them. "Now we seem to match!" He grinned, helping her look.

Alphonse blinked. "Now now Rai. Don't try to start a food fight. I'll win."

"Why not?" Michuru asked.

 

Nel eventually found it and put it on. "Okay! Let's go!"

Without a moment to spare, Raikou threw another piece at him, smirking.

"Because knowing you, you'll try to make the skimpy." Karen frowned slightly.

 

Cid smiled, taking her hand and heading off.

Alphonse caught it and flung it back at her without hesitation. It hit her on her chest.

"Damnit.... How'd you know? ......Fine, I won't." Michuru sighed.

Nel was on the verge of falling asleep for the third time in class. Soon the bell rang and she stood up, dashing out of the classroom. "I finally get to see my Cid!"

Raikou wiped it off and grabbed a piece, vanishing from sight.

Karen shook her her. "Alright." She sighed and sat down again, looking at Lucas. "What do I do for the mean time?"

 

Cid was surrounded by the class, asking him questions. He was slightly frantic, not knowing what to do.

Alphonse braced himself, looking around.

Michuru headed off, exiting the room.
Lucas smiled, sitting next to her and putting an arm around her. "Sit here in your gown with me?"

Nel pushed aside people to make it to Cid. "Hey!"

Suddenly, Alphonse's face was smudged with cake.

"Okay." Karen smiled, kissing his cheek.

 

The group thickened around, not letting Nel through.
"Hey Haibel!" Laura caught up with her, dragging her away and out into the corridor. "What're you doing?"
"Haven't you heard that there's a new guy in class 3-A? Apparently he got 100% on the entrance exam!" Miku's eyes lit up.
"Plus no one can get to him through that crowd of girls. It's like he's a girl magnet." Laura sighed.

Alphonse blinked, wiping it away.

Lucas smiled back at her.

 

Nel looked down. "Oh I see. I was just a bit curious is all."

Raikou appeared, laughing in his lap. "I got you daddy!"

Karen rested on him.

 

"Duh! So is everyone else!" Miku shouted. The crowd suddenly got quiet. Cid had stood up and was making his way to the door.
Alphonse grabbed Rai, squeezing her. "Now I got you!"
Lucas kissed her head.

 

Nel watched him.

"Guess again." Raikou winked as she vanished again.

Karen smiled again. "You're so sweet."

 

Cid stopped in front of Nel. Suddenly he smiled at her. "Hey Halibel!" Miku and Laura died mentally.
Alphonse blinked, looking around.
"Really?" Lucas asked.

 

Nel smiled back. "Hey there!" She had forgotten if Cid had a code name.

Raikou appeared right next to him.

"Yes." Karen replied, kissing him.

 

"Great but it doesn't solve our problem, where to?" Kaia smiled and looked at her.

 

"Well..." Kiku thought for a moment. "I still don't know."
