A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Part of Kaia still longed to go out and have an adventure, she'd been in one place for too long but she didn't want to be rude, so she simply smiled and sat down, "Okay"

Opal frowned, "oh, what happened then?" she asked quietly, slightly scared by Abee.

 

She smiled at him. "what?"

 

"First it was Rika. They dragged her away from us and tested a new drug on her. It went wrong and she was going mad. They were going to vivisect her but instead she 'left the stage early'." Abee frowned.

"Don't you think you should be heading to our room instead of walking around freely just in a towel?" Kazune asked, going more red.

 

"why?"she asked innocently.

 

"Well, you know.... It's embarassing for the servants.... And there's Kaoru...." Kazune started to count on his fingers.

 

"why would the servants get embarrassed? And besides Kaoru is married remember?"

 

"And Dark." Kazune added.

 

Opal frowned, "But that's awful" she whispered.

 

"Yes, especially the fact that she was the one who closed the curtain on herself." Abee's voice took a cynical tone.

 

She thought about this one. " if you think he's gonna get me then doesn't that make every minute I'm not with someone dangerous? I highly doubt that he'll randomly attack me on the toilet, and I've just been completely naked in the shower"

 

"Good point." Kazune bit his lip slightly.

 

Opal's hand slowly came to her mouth, "no..." She looked down at the ground.

 

"hang on does that mean I can walk around without the towel then?"

 

"Sakoto was next. She disappeared in the night when we were asleep. Or, passed out. Apparently Rena was partially awake to hear her screaming and crying before her crying out 'I won't cry anymore. Look Nii-Nii. I'm strong! I don't care how much of this happens! If you come back, it'll make everything alrig-'. Then silence." Abee smirked.

Kazune went bright red. "N-NO! Don't do that!"

She grinned and dropped the towel. "too late"

Kazune's eyes widened before running and grabbing the towel, wrapping it around Xyam. "Don't do that!"

 

" why not, we've established that it's ok" she smiled, quite pleased with herself.

 

"No, its not okay." Kazune replied.

 

"how come? queens can do what they like right?"

 

"Except for publically stripping." Kazune replied.
