A King's Story 4: Fading Light

"For you to be safe from Dark." Kazune smiled.

 

"How is falling over gonna put me in danger?"

 

"Well it would have hurt you pretty much." Kazune replied.

 

"Falling over does not class as 'hurt', two fractures a broken leg and blood loss, does"

 

"Here you go." Kazune laughed.

 

"What?, Im simply explaining the boundry of pain, and how something as boring as tripping up cannot do anything to me"

 

"Fine." Kazune let her go.

 

She dropped about 3 cm.

 

Kazune stood up. "Well, are we gonna go or not?"

 

Opal smiled slightly, "But that doesn't matter, you're fine now and that's all that counts"

 

"You sure are impatient, come on then" she skipped outta the room.

 

Abee smiled back. "Yeah. I guess so."

Kazune laughed, following after her.

 

She grabbed his hand and pulled him along.

Abee yawned. "I'm feeling sleepy."

"Xyam. When you said you were looking for clothes....." Kazune poked his head out from behind a pile of boxes and his arms were covered in bag straps. "Did you really mean to buy out the whole Kingdom?"

 

She grinned. "I told you all my clothes were too tight, plus you can afford it right?"

 

"Okay, let's get you to bed then" Opal smiled and glanced affectionally down at her belly before moving over to him.

 

"This hasn't made a dent into your riches...." Kazune muttered. "But still, I end up carrying everything?" He asked.
