A King's Story 4: Fading Light

"You're a bit late now then." Mello replied, sitting down on the grass.

 

He smiled slightly. "I know"

 

Near stirred slightly. Opening his eyes, he looked up at Luke.

 

Luke looked down at him, then back at mello. "So are you one of hers?, no , hers would have red hair"

 

"Xyam isn't my mother! And anyway, her kids don't have red hair. They both have dark brown hair. Lawliet has green eyes and Matsuda has one green and one blue eye."

 

"Lawliet and Matsuda huh? both guys then"

 

Mello nodded. "First it was Lawliet. Then big bro came. Then I came. Then Near came. Then Akuji appeared. Then Matsuda and Touta came."

BIC:

"Guess you're all pretty good friends then" he smiled "Say, that grumpy kid earlier with the foul mouth, was he Lawliet?"

 

"Yeah. He's pissed off because Touta ruined his date. Not that I would do that at all." Mello replied, sighing. "Well, not everyone can be as atrractive as me."

 

OOC: how does he know?

BIC:

He laughed slightly. "You remind me of myself when I first met Xyam"

 

OOC: Mello knows everything.
BIC:

Mello looked at Luke. "Really now?"
Near whined slightly, holding his head. "Hurt....."

 

He nodded. "Hey, where's this guys bedroom?"

 

Mello looked up at Near. "If your head hurts, cure yourself Near. Like you ALWAYS do?"
Near blinked before his eyes glowing completely white. After awhile, they died down. "....Better....."
"******." Mello rolled his eyes.
"I'm not ******ed. You know I get like this when I feel ill or have a headache." Near replied.

 

Luke gently put Near down on the floor.

 

Near stood there before flopping to the floor, sitting there in his odd way.
"Can you even learn to stand?" Mello asked.
"I know how to stand. I'm just wobbly. I feel like I've just had one of my blood rushes." Near replied.

 

"Can I leave you two alone while I go to see her?"

 

"Ex-nay on the see-ay." Mello stood up. "Kazune won't let you just stride up to her and say hi like that."

 

"Oh?, why not?"

 

"Duh, because she's the Queen, you know?" Mello replied.

 

"In that case the guards wouldn't allow it either"
