A King's Story 4: Fading Light

"He's gone for now"Xyam whispered.

 

Kazune relaxed slightly.

 

"God why can't we be normal for once?!"

 

Kazune nodded. Turning to her, he hugged her tightly.

 

Clark looked out his window, reaching to his side to get his book. Not grabbing anyhing, turned to notice it wasn't with him. Damn...

 

OCC: Recap? o.O

 

Opal smiled and slowly got up off the bed, she frowned and felt her tummy, she was hungry again.

 

She hugged back and nuzzled his chest.

 

Akuji was sitting there, holding the book that Clark had. She was flicking through it, trying to understand it.

Abee fell asleep, smiling.

OOC: Nothing happened around you yet. Just carry on.

Kazune smiled at her.

 

Opal watched him sleeping happily before quietly leaving and making her way back to the kitchen. She frowned as a thought occured to her, what if the baby in her tummy needed as much food as Abee? Then she'd better start eating.

 

Clark has his elbow on the window and his head on his fist, waiting to get home.

 

Abee fell asleep, curling up in a ball.

Akuji looked up, watching the carriage leave. Looking through the window, she watched Clark.

 

Opal raided the stores and ate and ate, although her hunger didn't seem to go.

 

OOC: Now what?
BIC:

Clark looked out for a moment, seeing Akuji. He closed his eyes. My dearest apologies...

 

OOC: She goes to him. Time skip to later.
BIC:

Grell watched out the window. An unusual carriage was being pulled up the road to the manor.

 

Clark drank his tea slowly. Setting down the glass, he looked to Grell. "Did we have any guest scheduled for today?"

 

"No. But a strange carriage is pulling up the road now." Grell replied, pointing out the window at it.

 

Clark looked out the window. "Go see who it is. And keep your guard up."

 

"Yes My Lord!" Grell grinned, heading off. Keep your guard up was another way of saying 'attack when attacked'.
The carriage stopped outside the mansion doors.
Akuji came out of it, wearing a long white dress and her hair up in a ponytail.

 

Clark stood up and made his way to the main room. Maybe it might be a business man.
