A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Grell opened the front door. His eyes widened in suprise at Akuji.
Akuji smiled at him slightly. "Is Clark in? He dropped his book." She held up the book.

 

Clark took a seat in his chair and waited for Grell to return, with or without a guest.

 

"Uh, yeah. The Young Master is in." Grell replied.
Akuji smiled more. "Then I'll go hand him his book back." She headed inside, heading up the stairs.
Grell ran after her, showing her to where Clark was.

 

Clark had his eyes closed as he heard footsteps. Grell's running? With someone else?

 

Grell opened the door. "You have a guest Young Master." He said before stepping back, letting AKuji through.
Akuji smiled, walking inside. "I got your book."

 

Clark's eyes widened slightly. "Akuji?"

 

"I'm gonna go sulk in my old room"

 

Akuji smiled at him. "Yup. The girl you met on the banking. I'm here to return your book that you dropped." She held it out to him. "To be honest, this book doesn't know what it's talking about. Blackness and emptiness under this continent, I don't think so."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Kazune asked.

 

"it means that im going to my old room and sulking over what happened today"

 

Clark pouted slightly and took the book. Placing it on a shelf, he turned back to Akuji. "How did you find me?"

 

"Oh..." Kazune blinked.

"I told my Dad I met someone called Clark and he had dropped his book. When I handed it to him, he said that you lived here." Akuji smiled. "Apparently there's only three Clarks in the main city and only one is this well-read."

 

She turned around and walked off.

 

Kazune sat there, watching her leave quietly.

 

she went into her room and shifted the dresser over.

 

Kazune started to get REAL bored.

 

Matsu skipped down the corridor.


She started to add sketches to ones already there on the wall.

 

Clark nodded then turned to Grell. "Bring refreshments for myself and our guest."

 

Kazune stood up, heading towards the bookshelf. Picking out a book, he started to read it.

Grell bowed. "Yes, my Lord." He smiled before heading out.
Akuji watched Grell leave. "'My Lord' ......... Is he your butler?" She asked.

 

"You're just realizing this?" Clark entered a room and sat down in his chair. "Take a seat if you'd like." He sai, hold his hand out infront of him.

 

Matsu skipped up to Kazune. "What story is that daddy?"

She burned in images of what happened that day, on one side of the wall was good things and the other side, bad things.
