A King's Story 4: Fading Light

OOC: It doesn't help that we're far ahead of this in VM's.....

 

OOC Why are we only doing them in the first place... ?

 

OOC: I don't know. -drags Cid and Alphonse out of the closet, dusts them down- These two now? Or do I have to bring Lucas out too?

 

OOC: Well Karen is pregnant... so yeah, you do.

 

OOC: -pulls Lucas from box, unfolds him- :3
BIC:

Lucas sat in his study, happy as ever.

Cid tried to hide a laugh. "Look Nel, if you add these two together, you get this. And then you simplify using the other number you got earlier." This was the 17th time he had to explain this.

Sky sat in the garden, watching the flowers. Reaching out to it, suddenly it froze over with ice.

 

OOC: Poor him.
BIC:

Karen walked in with a tray of tea and cookies. Her belly had become larger than she expected.

Nel was slumped at her desk in a daze.

Raikou was playing catch with Chicchai.

 

Lucas looked up at her, smiling. "You've gotten bigger."

Cid laughed, patting her head. "Oh Nel.... Would you rather have that scary Math teacher of your's or me?"

Sky looked back at Raikou. "Rai! Just just froze a flower!"

 

Karen smiled back. "I know. I never thought I'd get this big." She set the tray down beside him.

"I'd rather not have math." Nel looked up at him, out of it.

Raikou titled her head and hurried over.

 

"It's not that unnatural." Lucas smiled. "You still look cute."

Cid kissed her forehead. "I hate maths too."

Sky pointed at the frozen flower. "See?"

 

Karen blushed. "Thank you." she served him a cup of tea.

Nel shook her head awake. "Can we take a break?"

"How'd you do that?" Raikou asked.

 

Lucas took the cup, drinking from it.

"Fine then." Cid smiled.

"I don't know." Sky shrugged.

 

Karen looked out the window, rubbing her belly.

"Yay!" Nel threw her papers in the air and ran out.

Raikou studied the flower.

 

"neeeooowww!!!!!"


OOC: MOOD SPOIL!!!!!

 

Lucas watched her, smiling. "Do you know if it's a boy or girl yet?"

Cid watched her go. Looking at the papers that were sinking to the floor, he sighed before his eyes flashing red.
The papers instantly stopped in mid-air before flying back to the desk in a neat pile.

Alphonse headed over to them, smiling. "Hey. What're you both up to?" He sat next to them both.
Sky pointed at the flower. "Dad, I froze it."
Alphonse looked at the flower. "Ahhh.... So you did."

Kazune smiled, walking around the room, making Matsu dive and spiral around.

 

Matsu laughed happily

 

OOC: I typed up the first Chapter and half of the second. Should I e-mail it to you?

BIC:

Kazune flew up to, flying towards the ceiling and around the room with Matsu.

 

OOC: yeah


BIC:

"fighter jet" mastu started prodding daddy.

 

Kazune grinned. Creating a fire disk in his hand, he threw it across the room. "Fire missile 1!"

 

Matsu stopped laughing. "daddy, you broke the dresser"

 

"I don't want to know until I-" She paused for a moment. "Lucas, come here!"

Nel walked outside and make a chair for herself from a tree.

Raikou looked at Alphonse. "Is this like grandma's power?"
