A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Lucas stood up, walking over to her. "What's wrong?"

Cid headed after her. Walking out, he saw Nel and smiled. "You're getting better with your powers."

Alphonse nodded, pulling Raikou onto his lap. "Yup. Your Grandma was the Princess of the Ice Kingdom. Watch." He tapped another flower with his finger, freezing it completely through.

 

Karen quickly placed his hand on her stomach and smiled.
Kicking came from it.

"I've been practicing." Nel grinned at him.

Raikou watched in excitement. "Can you teach me how to do that?"

 

Lucas' face lit up instantly. "Kicking.... Cute....." He started to go off into a daze.

OOC: Okay, Lucas now has a 'cute daze'.
BIC:

"Good." Cid sat next to her. "Though I'm still not going to teach you much more with fire. Last time you almost burnt the whole castle down."

Alphonse started to think. "Hmmm..... Maybe I could..... But maybe I couldn't....." He grinned, obviously joking around.

 

OOC: Cute daze?
BIC:

Karen tilted her head. "Lucas?"

"But it wasn't my fault!" Nel arfued.

Raikou pouted. "You no fair, Daddy! Mommy teaches me lightening." She turned away and jumped off his lap.

 

OOC: Basically he spaces out.
BIC:

Lucas was still in a daze.

"I know, I know." Cid smiled.

"I'm joking Rai." Alphonse laughed. "I'll teach you."

 

Karen snapped her fingers in his face.

Nel sighed. "I'm sorry." She stood up and hugged him.

"Yay!" Raikou jumped on him.

 

Lucas snapped back into reality. Looking at Karen, he smiled.

Cid hugged back. "It's okay."

Sky grinned, jumping on him too.
Alphonse fell back, laughing and hugging them both.

 

Karen was a bit confused. "What was that about?"

"Can I do anything to make it up to you?" Nel asked, resting her head on his chest.

Raikou laughed too. "Now let's get started!"

 

Lucas hugged her. "It was so adorable I spaced out."

Cid blinked, so many thoughts going through his head at the same time and wanting to be picked. He shook them all away. "No, nothing."

Alphonse nodded, sitting up.

 

Karen smiled and kissed him. "Just to think, the baby's almost here and we can truely start our family."

"Please?" Nel looked up at him with puppy dog eyes.

Raikou got off him and ran to the training area.

 

Lucas kissed back, smiling. "Yeah."

Another wave of thoughts went through his head. "Do you have to?" Cid asked, trying to ignore them.

Alphonse followed after her with Sky.

 

OOC: I feel like making karen get kidnapped.
BIC:

Karen turned to leave. "I'm going to check on your lunch."

Nel nodded, pouting cutely.

Raikou made it there and began to stretch.

 

OOC:...you forgot...

Kazune's eyes widened. "Oh no....."

Lucas smiled, letting her go. "Okay then."

Cid kissed her. "I'll think of something then."

"Look!" Sky called, speeding past Raikou. He had frozen the bottom of his feet and was skating around the room.
Alphonse stopped by Raikou, watching Sky. "Show off. C'mon, I'll teach you some stuff."

BIC:

Abee smiled, relaxing on the grass outside.

 

"Now, what?"

 

OOC: Wanna be the kidnapper?
BIC:

Karen smiled at him as she left the study.

Nel kissed back happily. "Yay."

"Okay Daddy!" Raikou awaited a demostration.

 

Opal watched him happily before walking over and sitting down beside him, "Enjoying yourself?"

 

"We fix it before Mommy comes back or we blame it on Dexter." Kazune replied, landing next to the dresser.

OOC: YUSH.
BIC:

Lucas headed back to his desk.

Clutching onto the ceiling, a shadow hid there watching Karen.

Cid smiled. "It could be anything you know."

Alphonse nodded.

Abee nodded smiling happily.
