A King's Story: High in the Skies Part 2

"I don't know, they must really hate us. Sure you don't want any help?" She looked at them unsure.

 

Alphonse swam down deeper, smiling at her.

Abee nodded. "I'll be fine."

 

Opal smiled at him, then looked out to where they were heading. She looked hopefully out.

 

Abee landed on another platform, looking up. Putting Opal down, he suddenly felt a massive blast of fire from ahead. "Come on!"

 

Opal felt good as she felt the ground under her feet once more, then she felt the blast of fire. SHe frowned and ran forward, "What's going on?"

 

Abee ran along, dragging Opal with him. Coming to the edge of the platform, on another platform, Kazune stood bearing a sword at Kotarou. His eyes were red and a psychotic look on his face.
Kotarou was glaring up at him, blood over him.

 

Opal gasped and her eyes widened as she saw them. She took her daggers out from her belt but stood back, unsure what to do.

 

Abee held out his arm in front of Opal. "Wait."

Kazune swung at Kotarou.
Kotarou rolled out of the way. "You baastard!"
Kazune lunged for Kotarou again. "YOU KILLED HER!" He shouted.
Kotarou blocked, a trickle of blood going down his arms. "I had to..." He smirked. "Don't you see? I needed someone to take as a vessel for Luka and I chose HER. She never liked me. She never loved me. Father should have never married her at all!" He laughed.

 

Opal nodded and gulped, wondering who had been killed, waiting to see what happened next.

 

Kazune raised his sword and swung again.
Kotarou dodged and lunged for Kazune. Pinning him to the floor, he tilted his head to the side. "Whats wrong Kazune? You would do the same if Xyam died or Lawliet!"
Kazun froze, his eyes turning normal again.
"EXACTLY!" Kotarou laughed manically.

 

Kami smiled back, swimming after him.

 

Alphonse stopped and instantly turned around as a swarm of fish swam into him.

 

Kami laughed.

OOC: You mean like crash or into him as if her absorded them?

 

OOC: Crashed into him.
BIC:

Alphonse appeared, upsidedown next to Kami. He blinked, confused on what just happened.

 

Kami smiled and grabbed onto his cheek. She could help but continue to smile.

 

Alphonse laughed at her, smiling. "Look Kami!" He pointed out, further into the lake.
A black figure was swimming around, seeming to have a human shape.

 

Kami turned around. W-What is that?

 

Alphonse smiled, watching it. "Dunno.... But it looks cool!" He started to swim towards it.

 

Opal just took a deep breath and didn't dare look away from the two. Her hand still rested by her daggers but was fairly relaxed. She still had no idea what she was meant to do and just watched.

 

Kazune glared at him and kicked Kotarou off him. Grabbing his sword, he swung at Kotarou again.
Kotarou's wings extended and he flew up, out of the way. "You FORGOT about these, didn't you?"
"NEVER!" Kazune flew up after him, still attacking.
Kotarou blocked and punched at Kazune.
