A King's Story: High in the Skies

Akito didn't say a word and continued to stare at the tear, his eyes continuing to widen.

 

Kaia blinked.
"His face is in shock, why is it in shock?"

 

Akito stayed motionless for a moment longer. Then he closed his eyes and blinked, going back blank. Howecer, there was a tear forming in his eye.

 

Both of them gasped.
Cori woke up.

 

Akito looked at them both. Is something wrong.

 

Kaia pointed to her tear duct then pointed to him.

 

Akito touched his eye and felt the single tear. He looked at it. What is this.

 

Kaia was quiet, "It's a tear, they are a sign of happiness and sadness, mainly a sign of sadness."

 

Akito looked at the tear again. Oh.

 

"You.."
"..Alright?" Raia said finishing Kaia's sentence.

Kaia shrugged then fell back down again.
Raia did the same.

 

Akito looked at them and fell on his back as well.

 

Raia was staring at the clouds.
Kaia closed her eyes.

 

Akito stared at the clouds then closed his eyes.

 

Raia laughed, "Hey look Kaia, it looks like mr wants a lot."
Kaia laughed without looking at it then she opened her eyes and looked at the cloud and chuckled, "It does."

 

Akito looked too. Hahaha. His voice was very blank.

 

Kaia looked at him with no reaction, she knew he wanted to laugh too, "Does it feel odd? to not have emotions?"
Raia closed his eyes.

 

Akito looked at her. I don't know. I don't feel a thing.

 

"But do you remember ever having emotions?" She asked curiously.
